This cottage was extremely well eqipped and spotless. Downstairs bedroom with ensuite well set up for people with physical disabilities.
It would be useful to have information about when bins collected and which bin. Also, although not needed, it would be helpful to have a conctact phone number on the island, just in case.

Close to local amenities.
Close to local amenities. Cottage was comfortable, warm and felt very relaxing. Kitchen was very well stocked with oven, hob, air fryer, grill, kettle, can't remember a microwave but there probably was one. Internet was on and off at times but no major problems there. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and simple to use. The downstairs ensuite was perfect for one member of the group who has Parkinson's and limited mobility relying on the provided handrails and shower seat (they were over the moon with the bathroom layout which made a big improvement to their enjoyment).Plenty of space for the whole party to sit in group or be out of the while while still feeling part of the group. My only whinge is the parking in front of the house was being used by other people a lot so could be awkward on a rare occasion. Would definitely stay again and recommend this accommodation to anyone. The only improvement I can think of (and it's very minor) is to include black coffee in the complimentary box of coffee and snacks, which was an absolute life saver to see on arrival.
I would recommend waterside cottage as a good central base for accessing Skye easily.
I would recommend waterside cottage as a good central base for accessing Skye easily. Fabulous views from the front of the house onto Skye Bridge.
The road outside the house goes into Kyleakin with just general traffic
Very quiet at night time.
Conservatory is very light n airy for having meals although looks out onto gardens. ( Blinds offer adequate privacy)
Suitable parking for 2/3 cars
Plenty of equipment for making meals.
Beds COMFY! Wet room /showers good.!Handy serving hatch through from kitchen to Dining area.
Only one big disappointment was that the Sofas in the lounge weren’t very supportive, especially if you have back problems!
Would definitely go back again !!

Had an excellent holiday in spite of the restrictions in place due to the virus. The cottage was very well appointed, comfortable and clean. The only thing I could suggest that might be improved is some information about the recycling arrangements as we were unsure of what could be put in the blue bin.

Second time staying at Waterside Cottage.
Second time staying at Waterside Cottage. It’s so cosy and has everything you need. Lovely location right next to the Skye Bridge. It’s worth a walk over the bridge to see the sunset. Stunning.

All great but we would have liked to be able to reach the owner before the stay (I tried to call several times but no answer and no possibility to leave a message).
Else the house is well located, comfortable and rather well equipped. It just miss a coffee machine, a larger bin, and some instructions for the garbage collection (containers were full and very smelly when we arrived and we never found how to recycle the glass).

Lovely cottage with a wonderful view.
Lovely cottage with a wonderful view. Comfortable and well equipped. Provisions were left for our arrival which was very thoughtful and much appreciated. The downstairs bedroom and bathroom would be helpful for people of limited mobility or a wheelchair user.
I've stopped in Skye many times but never previously in Kyleakin but now it would be my preferred place to stay. The local people were very helpful and friendly.
