Sitting-out area with garden furniture. 2 dogs welcome £30 pay on arrival, to be kept on a lead at all times (working sheep farm). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Great touring location. Situated in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park in a beautiful location with valley and sea views, these semi-detached barn conversions have been sympathetically converted and restored to retain character and charm. Located on a working farm, it is an ideal holiday base to explore some of the best beaches in Wales and is just 2 miles from the coast. Visit the slate caverns and castle and Portmeirion and Snowdonia are easily accessible. St David’s Royal Golf Course and theatre at Harlech. Local tourist attractions include Harlech Castle, Llanfair Slate Caverns and Portmeirion, while all areas of the Snowdonia National Park are easily accessible. Shop, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.

We loved our first visit to Beudy Hen; a 400 year old conversion on a working sheep farm which is absolutely wonderful. We arrived as a family with two teenage boys and a dog in tow. We were met by the owner who was so friendly and greeted us at the cottage to show us around. The cottage was immaculate and had everything we needed for a self catering holiday; really well kitted out. There were special touches everywhere to make us feel welcome. The location had amazing views and had the most gorgeous sunsets followed by wonderful starry skies! The nearest beautiful beach Llandanwg is less than 10 minutes by car with Harlech beach just a bit further which was just stunning. We visited Barmouth, Porthmadog, Ffestiniog Railway and Zipworld to name a few which were in easy distance of the cottage by car. The cottage was warm and cosy after swimming in the sea each day and our boys and dog absolutely loved it. We have booked to return next year and will now join everyone else who repeatedly returns to this special little place owned by equally special people. Fantastic stay at Beudy Hen.

Fantastic stay at Beudy Hen. We loved the peaceful setting, only noise were the sheep. Only 2 mins drive to central Harlech where there are a few local shops and takeaways. Loads of amazing places to visit, but the beach at Harlech couldnt be beaten. Mr and Mrs Evans were incredibly friendly and helpful. Even allowing our 8 year old to explore in all the fields and stream. The home is really well stocked. Would love to come back. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

always a lovely welcome ...the location is peaceful and not far from the beach lovely views,there is so much to do and see and its lovely to come back to the cottage after a day out to a comfortable nights sleep.these cottages are excellent. I would recommend them to my family and friends,Heaulen and Emyr are lovely hosts who are dedicated to making our holiday stress free and nothing is to much trouble....
