In an enviable location in the heart of Oban, this modern second floor holiday apartment enjoys wonderful views across the bay and out to the islands beyond. From Oban’s bustling harbour, there are daily boat trips to the surrounding islands, including Mull, Staffa and Iona where porpoise, dolphins, whales and basking sharks are often spotted. Local activities include walking, mountain biking, kayaking and skiing. There are plenty of castles, gardens and historic sites to explore or literally on your doorstep there are a variety of shops, bars and restaurants. Oban also has a cinema and leisure centre. Shop 100 yards, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

Great apartment and location

This is an ideal apartment for friends or a family wishing to explore the Oban area. Well equipped, comfortable and beside the sea front, shops, cafes, railway, bus stations and ferry terminal. Supermarkets close by. All set in the most glorious location with so much to see.

A very comfortable apartment in a good location with a lovely view. Hard work at first getting all the luggage and shopping up to the second floor but fine after that. The triple glazing in the bedrooms is useful for Friday and Saturday nights when people at the pub opposite are very noisy but apart from that a very quiet and peaceful location. Cooking and washing equipment facilities all good and furnishings comfortable. A really good apartment for exploring the local islands by ferry and on foot. We had a lovely stay in Kerrera View.

We had a lovely stay in Kerrera View. The view over the harbour was wonderful and ever changing. The flat was in a great central location, within a few minutes walk of the ferry terminal, train station and buses, and all the local shops, restaurants etc which we liked but perhaps wouldn't suit everyone as it could get a bit noisy at times. It was in a great position for visiting the local area and getting the ferry across to the islands. Couldn't really fault the flat itself as it was well kitted out with everything you could need and very comfortable.

Loved the flat. It was very comfortable, super clean, lovely views. it is right in the town by the train station and ferry and bus terminals so the area is busy in the day but quiet at night. Oban is a good are to be based in Argyll.

We've been regular visitors to Oban over the last 6 years or so and each time we have stayed in a different apartment. This was our first time at Kerrera View and is easily our favourite for all the reasons stated above plus a number of small touches that enhanced our stay e.g. the fresh flowers in the living room, the tea, milk & sugar in the kitchen (ready for our first brew) and, not least, the drams of whisky that provided us with a wee nightcap at bed-time. I'm sure we'll return again next year and, if we do, another reservation at Kerrera View is guaranteed. Thank you.
