The lodge is 4 miles from Penzance and St Ives.
The lodge is 4 miles from Penzance and St Ives. The lodge is in a remote area. It is very quiet. There are walks from the lodge. You will have to drive to the shops and pubs. The lodge was very clean throughout. Bedding and towels have been provided. The lodge has a microwave and conventional oven with two hot plates. We were able to cook full main meals for two weeks every day. We could even cook a full English breakfast.
The owner is very helpful and friendly. If you ever need anything you just ask and they are more than willing to help. When we arrived there was a bottle of wine and buns left for us.
You can also take your dog with you. We had a great holiday and probably return in future.

We wanted somewhere that was quiet and peaceful for ourselves and our dog.
We wanted somewhere that was quiet and peaceful for ourselves and our dog. Heather Brae Lodge was perfect for this. Approximately midway between St. Ives and Penzance. Access to several beaches just a short car ride away. Hayle (few miles away) good for food shopping and taking into account where located, we even managed to get a chinese takeaway delivered without any issue. One bedroom lodge, also sofa bed in living area. Kitchen had everything we needed and the bathroom was good too. Nice touch by Steve and Sally (owners) too as we had a pint of milk, small bottle of wine and biscuits waiting for us on arrival.

Very nice and VERY clean place.
Very nice and VERY clean place. Kind owners. Very quiet and isolated. On the down side: needed to drive to take a morning stroll with dog. By a very busy road with no walking path so a bit scary. Recommended for people who like quiet and peaceful time.

Lovely quiet peaceful location.
Lovely quiet peaceful location. Lodge is nice with very comfortable bed. Lounge not so comfortable and kitchen cupboards need venting to avoid ‘stale’ smell. Very warm welcome with nice welcome pack.

Lovely little gem of a place! Owners are really friendly and the place is tucked away from view of their house. Dog friendly which is an added bonus. Welcome pack was lovely. It had everything we needed although we didn't cook here. Clean and comfortable. Ideal base. Location was great for getting around Cornwall, St Ives just 2 miles away. We also went to Lands End, Falmouth, Penzance, Truro to name a few but St Ives def our favourite. Cricket ground opposite to walk the dog if needed. Engine Inn just up the road but would need to drive as no pavements. We had a lovely break. Thank you.
