A fabulous detached cottage with splendid views across the Otter Valley, making this a perfect holiday retreat.. 3 steps to entrance.

Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner included. Cot and highchair. External games room with pool table and darts. Enclosed lawned garden with garden furniture. 30-acre farm grounds (shared with owner). Bike store. Private parking for 2 cars. Please note: This property has a natural water supply from a well and there is a fenced pond in the grounds, 400 yards away.. Nestling in the peaceful Blackdown Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is Little Shelvin Farm Cottage. This wonderful detached cottage with entrance hall is set within the grounds of the owners’ 30-acre sheep farm. It is decorated and furnished to a very good standard and is ideal for families, friends, walkers and birdwatchers alike. With a wood burner in the living room, plus central heating, it makes an ideal all year round holiday destination. The cottage has its own garden and playroom with pool table and enjoys fabulous views across the Otter Valley. Visitors are encouraged to enjoy the farm, picnic in the fields, and study the varied flora of the designated Devon Wildlife Trust area. The market town of Honiton is within 4 miles and is well known for its many antique shops. Exeter is a 30-minute drive away. The Jurassic Coast is also within a short drive, taking in Beer, Branscombe and Sidmouth. Enjoy fine countryside and walks right from the doorstep, follow the coastal path, or explore the wilds of Dartmoor and Exmoor. Several historic houses, castles and gardens nearby, including some fine National Trust properties such as Killerton House and Knightshayes Court. Plenty of attractions for children of all ages including wildlife and adventure parks, steam railways, golf, riding and sailing nearby. Beach 12 miles. Shop 4 miles, pub and restaurant 4 miles.
