Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, Wi-Fi and fuel for open fire included. Cot available on request. Garden with garden furniture. Bike store. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. This charming detached cottage lies in the grounds of the owners’ home, within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park and is located only a mile from Balloch, the gateway town to Loch Lomond. It is also ideally located for exploring the stunning beauty of the surrounding area. The area is ideal for walkers and cyclists of all abilities and boasts a magnificent diversity of scenery with dramatic peaks, waterfalls, hidden caves and forest covered slopes, with the West Highland Way only a short distance from the property. Cameron House golf and spa resort is a short drive away, where visitors can enjoy fine dining, day spa packages and championship golf. Lomond Shores, again within a short distance, offers designer shopping, loch cruises and an aquarium. The cities of Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling are easily accessible by car and boast award-winning restaurants, theatres, galleries, concert venues and designer shopping, as well as many tourist attractions including Edinburgh Castle. Shops and pubs 1½ miles.

The Cottage was lovely but you do need a car as there is no pavement to walk on till you reach the m

The Cottage was lovely but you do need a car as there is no pavement to walk on till you reach the main road which is not far away to be fair . But it does make the location peaceful and balloch and all the amenities are only a few minutes drive away

Lovely cottage, the owners stay next to the cottage, so isn’t private, you must have transportation you need to go into balloch only mile away for the local shop, co op. Overall well priced and the owners supply the coal which was very kind. Would recommend if you require a nice quiet break,

Great location approximately 1.5 miles from Balloch, we went in via the country park, caught the train into Glasgow which ran every 30 minutes and cost us £6.10 adult return. Balloch was an excellent base for exploring, we went to Stirling and Oban both worth a visit. We also took a boat trip on the Loch. We spent a good few hours around the shoos of Balloch.

The cottage has a good amount of space and good gardens.

The cottage has a good amount of space and good gardens. Part of the garden could do with a thorough cutting back, as it's a little overgrown. The sofas are not very comfortable, but we put the extra pillows on to add to the comfort. Kitchen has a good level of equipment.
