This gorgeous little cottage was way beyond our expectations, so close to Portree town centre & such a beautiful view! It’s very cosy & the owners are very friendly & accommodating. Will be staying again!
My husband and I enjoyed our week at 7 Bayfield. The house was clean, comfortable, spacious and just a short walk to restaurants and Mackenzie’s Bakery. We really enjoyed the views and watching the tides and weather change. There are lots of sights like Fairy Pools, Neist Point lighthouse, and Talisker Bay Beach within a short drive. I would highly recommend this holiday house to anyone coming to Portree or Isle of Skye.
Just tucked away, close enough for local amenities but further away from the bustle of the town centre.
Lovely bungalow with great views.
Not many faults, think they need a new cleaner though, the cooker extractor fan is thick with grease and the filter needs replacing, also it’s been vacuumed around the furniture rather than under it.
That’s my only negative

Shore View was spot on as a base for a week of exploring Skye. Situated very close to the centre of Portree, it had everything we needed and was warm and cosy for a chilly October week. Beautiful views to the Cuillins, right on the shoreline and a lovely walking route from the end of the road up to ‘the lump’. Definitely would return.

Our second stay at Shore View and would go again.
Our second stay at Shore View and would go again. A very comfortable cottage with unsurpassed views and peace and quiet, yet close to all the amenities Portree has to offer, a very good base from which to explore the beautiful island of Skye. The one and only, yet minor issue was a lack of a dustpan and brush.
