Great location and a 5 min walk into town. There was a good amount of space and the kitchen was pretty well stocked. Our only complaint was the beds weren’t comfortable, other than that it was great.

Unten befinden sich Wohnzimmer und Esszimmer mit Küche, sowie Windfang, Gäste-WC und ein Abstellraum. Oben drei Schlaf- und zwei Badezimmer. Küche ist gut ausgestattet.

Großartige Unterkunft
hält was sie verspricht. Liegt sehr günstig und im Haus ist alles vorhanden, um sich selbst zu versorgen. Wir hatten am ersten Abend Probleme mit dem Rauchmelder. Es ist sofort jemand vorbeigekommen und hat es behoben. Wir sind dankbar für den schnellen Service und die schöne Zeit in Portree.

Sehr angenehme Ferienwohnung und idealer Ausgangspunkt auf Skye
Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Auch auf den Betten haben wir sehr gut geschlafen, es gab unterschiedliche Kopfkissen zur Auswahl. Der Holzfußboden knarrt leider ein wenig, dafür verbreitet er eine angenehme wohnliche Atmosphäre.
Die Lage ist für einen aktiven Urlaub, auf dem man viel herumkommen möchte ideal. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, gute Restaurants sowie ein Fish and Chips sind zu Fuß in 5 bis max. 10 Minuten erreichbar.
In einer anderen Rezension wurde der Straßenlärm erwähnt. Dieser ist uns lediglich tagsüber aufgefallen, da das Haus tatsächlich direkt an der Verbindungsstraße in den Norden von Skye gelegen ist. Wir haben dieses jedoch eher als Vorteil gesehen, da man schnell überall hin kommt. Abends und insbesondere Nachts haben wir nichts von der Straße gehört, da der Verkehr in den Norden von Skye zu dieser Zeit fast auf Null schrumpft.

Tadellos.
Perfekt und sorgfältig ausgestattetes Ferienhaus mit reichlich Platz und gutem Stil. Nicht optimal ist die Lage an einer relativ viel befahrenen Straße. Positiv ist die Nähe zum Ortskern, Hafen, Busbahnhof und zum Coop-Einkaufsladen.
