We had a lovely holiday in Osprey Cottage.
We had a lovely holiday in Osprey Cottage. Nice and cosy, beautiful views from the kitchen and landing windows, very peaceful. The neighbour was extremely helpful when we managed to lose our key! We enjoyed a meal at the nearby Sun Inn as well as further afield, and found the shops in Keswick well stocked and good quality. We hope to return another year.

Gorgeous cottage with amazing views.
Gorgeous cottage with amazing views. While local amenities weren't the best, they weren't the worst as well. You just have to be well prepared! Keswick is not far away for your shopping so do take full advantage. We will be back to this cottage in the future. It was simply breath taking!

We arrived to a soggy towel in the fridge which had obviously been defrosting.
We arrived to a soggy towel in the fridge which had obviously been defrosting. No note of apology or explanation. Also no welcome tray which is always a nice touch. We felt slightly duped by details 're outside space... so called bistro table is between 2 large and overflowing bins.. and on the driveway ... so basically no outside space. The bed is ok but arrangements for mattress could be better. Otherwise we had a fantastic week... this is a perfect base for a relaxed week in the Lakes.

Great cottage for our family of 3.
Great cottage for our family of 3..seemed to have a slight fly problem but we simply used fly spray daily and accepted the reality of an old building. Lack of outside space a downside and no shop near by but as we went out most days we could shop in other locations .Would be happy to return and would recommend.
