Lakefront "Memories on Malibu" is a getaway slice of heaven on earth! Enjoy the stunning sunset views of Lake Norman while on the dock, making s'mores at the fire pit, and dining in the renovated kitchen.

The kitchen and living area feature an open concept, suited for entertaining friends and family gatherings, with floor to ceiling windows looking out on to the lake. The wet bar is a great place to mix your summer vacation drinks.

The spacious primary bedroom has a lake view, king bed, large ensuite bathroom, and walk-in closet.

The second and third bedrooms have queen beds with a bathroom on both halls, the fourth bedroom has two twin beds. The fourth bathroom is a powder room off the living area.

There are updated furnishings and flooring throughout, water views from the deck and screened-in porch, and an outdoor shower facing sunset for total relaxation. The home is a ranch, so no stairs!

Getaway on Malibu is on a “no wake” cove, perfect for swimming, kayaking (3 provided,2 stand up paddle boards as well) and floating on a raft (pick your favorite from our float room).
We are at exit 33 off of I-77, then 1 mile to paradise.

This was our third consecutive year stay at this property. It is clean, well maintained, and has three separate corridors with bedrooms and bath in each. The owner is easy to work with and responds quickly to inquiries. Highly recommended !

Cozy, Happy, Great Location Lake House

We love this spot! Perfect location, close to lots of restaurants, shops, etc. but quietly tucked away in a great little cove to enjoy time with family and friends. We will be back!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

Pleasant Stay in a Beautiful Area

Overall, a very pleasant stay in a very beautiful & convenient area. The property itself offered a beautiful view of the lake and plenty of space to offer privacy. The stocked kitchen was an added plus, but the bathrooms & amenities in them were lacking. On close inspection, the home could have been a bit cleaner.

Beautiful, comfortable lake-front home

We stayed over the week of Thanksgiving and had a great time. The home is very comfortable and had plenty of room for our whole family. The living area is open and has beautiful views down to the lake. It is close to the interstate but very quiet. The property owners were very responsive to any questions we had. Overall, a wonderful stay and we hope to return during the summer next time.

Just Stunning!

Everything was perfect. Everything they promised was delivered! I’ll definitely rent again. My favorite spaces were the open floor plan and the patio overlooking the lake. Just wonderful. Chris was amazing to work with.

Lake Norman Lakehouse

We had a wonderful time at the Lakehouse. Christine was a wonderful host and very responsive. The layout of the house is great and allowed all of us to relax and enjoy the fantastic view. The house was extremely clean and the furniture/beds very comfortable. A great time was had by all. Thanks so much.

Fabulous home and lake location. It could not have been a better trip.

We enjoyed ourselves so much. The house is updated. great for a group because of all of the entertaining spaces-open kitchen to dinning/living room, screened in porch, deck, and outdoor fire pit with 8 seats. The house feels updated, clean, and just enjoyable to be in. We could have stayed another week. Thank you!

Wish it were mine!

From the home itself, it’s neighborhood location, access to roads and shops and of course the waterfront location, we could not have been happier with staying in this home. It was spacious and comfortable for the six adults that made up our group, the master suite and shower were large, guest rooms and baths well placed and separated on either side of the home, lending to privacy for everyone. Christine (host) was responsive and had her home well stocked with spices and other amenities that helped make our stay easy. You won’t be disappointed staying here!

Charming Lake Retreat

This comfortable home was a great retreat from the hustle and bustle. It sits in a beautiful, quiet cove but just a quick drive to shopping and restaurants. Our family enjoyed sitting on the dock, fishing and renting jet skis for the day. A local company will even deliver the jet skis to your marina of choice - Inland Sea Marina was just a short drive on the water. I loved the open concept kitchen and living room. We cooked many meals in the well equipped kitchen - although a cutting board and steak knives would be helpful! Great end to our NC vacation!

Great Getaway!

My husband’s daughter and family recently visited from England, spending time at our home in the mountains then spending their last week at Lake Norman. This home was perfect for our needs. Plenty of space for all and privacy when needed by the layout of several bedroom and bathroom wings. The views of the lake from the house were wonderful and the dock was great for lounging, fishing and sunbathing! When wanting to avoid the sun, we loved spending time on the screened porch. The owner was always available when needed and supplied us with the necessary information needed to rent a boat while staying. Our visit to Lake Norman was the perfect end to a wonderful family vacation.

From check-in to check-out this was a stellar experience. The owner is quick and easy to communicate with. And the home is even better than listed. Truly every amenity has been provided. This was the best stocked kitchen I’ve seen, with ample cookware, appliances, utensils and even spices. We thoroughly enjoyed mornings on the screened-in porch, days on the lake, and nights by the fire. And the property is extremely convenient to groceries, shops, restaurants and the interstate, but feels remote and peaceful. We will definitely return to this home (and I rarely say that after a vacation).

This was a wonderful week for our family of 4, with grandparents and another couple. The layout of the house is very nice and updated, for privacy, a great open living room, and well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed mornings on the screened in porch. The lot is gently sloped so it’s pretty easy to head down to the dock and back. The dock is very nice, we appreciate the location in a cove with nice sunset views from the dock but very little boat traffic. Water was about 8-9ft deep off the end of the dock and 89 degrees in July; the kids loved jumping in and swimming. We really appreciated the nicely stocked closet of floats and the paddle boards and kayak. Easy to get to off I-77. Christine was excellent with communication. If you have your own boat there’s a nice dock bumper padding on the side of the dock. Fishing was good too, bluegill off the end of the boat ramp and catfish from off the dock. Bass in the back of the cove and off the points coming in.

Fourth of July Fun

Memories on Malibu was a perfect fit for our family of 5 adults and 2 children. We all had ample space to spread out. We utilized the back porch, fire pit and dock. The grandkids loved fishing from the shore line. We rented a boat one day and enjoyed tubing.The highlight to a great week was the 4th of July fireworks that we could see from the dock. Christine was available for any questions that we had. Her immediate response was appreciated and she was great to work with. We loved the location of this house and would love to return.

Perfect Lake House Vibes

I would return over and over again. Very peaceful setting. Read if looking for an accessible vacation home: It was a challenging property for my son, who is a wheelchair user. I would not recommend the property for someone in a wheelchair full time. For anyone interested in the specific challenges, I can share those with you. My husband and I both were able to provide help to my son and we made it work.
