This luxurious apartment, which is in a block known as Elm Court, offers the best of both worlds, in that it has all the amenities of the town centre close at hand and yet an almost country location with views of the nearby Lakeland Fells and walking opportunities from the door. This ground floor apartment has level access with no steps which senior citizens or those with walking difficulties may find useful. It also offers flat walking into the town centre itself. Shops, pubs and restaurants 400 yards.

Gorgeous little ground floor flat, perfect location, modern and with parking. I read all the previous reviews with one common comment about the comfort of the bed but took it with a pinch of salt, oh how I wished I had took it seriously! The mattress doesn’t fill the bed frame and is low, it sits beneath the frame edges, if anyone books this property because of its accessibility please be aware the bed isn’t the most accessible! My husband and I felt like we were going to roll out of the bed every night. It’s a shame because the bedroom is capable of holding a king size bed but even just buying a better, deeper mattress that actually fits the frame would improve this from and 8/10 to a 9/10. We were visiting (un)fortunately during the heat wave, a fan would have been an added bonus as we couldn’t leave the windows open due to it being on the ground floor and having sash windows. As with any flat you can hear your upstairs neighbours but luckily ours were quiet by 11pm ish. All in all would recommend but please pay attention to everyone’s reviews. We have been coming to 11 Elm Court for many years, and always find the property very clean, well equipped and comfortable. Situated, as it is,few minutes walk both from the High Street and the Lake, it's position means that it not always.necessary to use the car and it can stay in it's allocated parking spot - another huge bonus.

A beautiful apartment - the pictures do not do it full justice! Very comfortable and well equipped. Stunning views...especially lovely to see ducks and pheasants wandering around the garden each time I looked outside. My only tiny 'criticism' is that the oven and hob are the most complicated I've ever seen and even when armed with the instruction manuals I still managed to grill most things that I tried to oven cook and the hob defeated me completely! Would this stop me visiting again though? Not at all! Was very sad to leave and hope to return soon!

Lovely Big apartment, location & parking.

Lovely Big apartment, location & parking. Great views from kitchen and lounge, clean and warm. On a personal note , extra mattress would solve low bed, note by TV to switch off at mains when not in use ( comes on in the night ) and would swap dish washer for small freezer. Would highly recommend and use again if the price was right. We had a great holiday .

Good location, could do with a fan, a 4.5 tog duvet instead of 10.5 provided, a tray in the kitchen and foil and cling film, otherwise everything was there to make it home from home
