Tucked away in the picturesque hamlet of Halton Gill at the brow of Littondale in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, this Grade II Listed farmhouse dating back to the 17th Century has been sympathetically restored to offer spacious and very comfortable accommodation in a peaceful corner of the Yorkshire Dales. Situated close to a working farm, Angram Farmhouse is full of charm and character with oak beams, mullion windows and interesting little niches, with a lovely open fire and countryside views together with a delightful cottage garden and patio. After a day touring the dales relax or dine alfresco in the pretty cottage garden on a warm summer evening where the beck runs alongside the walled garden it is a haven of peace and tranquillity.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Angram farmhouse.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Angram farmhouse. The location was idyllic . A tiny hamlet at the end of Littondale with no through traffic. The views to pennyghent were fabulous . Loads of walking and a pub in Litton 2 miles away . The farmhouse was well equipped and more spacious than we anticipated. Please note the water is spring fed so bottled water may be preferable. We arranged a Tesco delivery for the beginning of our stay . This worked well as there are no shops within a 25 minute drive. Would highly recommend for a relaxing stay in a stunning location. This is a really great cottage in the lovely, secluded Halton Gill - the pictures don't really do it justice. There's a good pub a 45 min walk along the country road and the nearest shops are in Settle, which is a 25 minute drive. The house is spacious with a well-equipped kitchen and farmhouse table that is really nice for dinners with some tealights. There's a small TV and the WiFi is 20mbps so perfect for video calling and remote working. Good hot showers, can't fault it and the perfect place for a group holiday with beautiful Littondale walks from the doorstep. The garden gets a lot of midges at dusk so be sure to bring bug spray and citronella if you want to make use of it in the warm summer months. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

A lovely, well equipped and spacious farmhouse. Plenty of wood for the cosy wood burner, beautiful views of the hills around and interesting books and games for when a rest is needed after the walks. A real 'get away from it all' place to stay and enjoy the peace and quiet of this corner of Yorkshire.
