Small, enclosed lawned garden with terrace and garden furniture. Private parking for 2 cars. Bike store. No smoking. Please note: There is a fenced pond in the grounds.. In an idyllic rural setting on an 18-acre smallholding and adjacent to the farmhouse this holiday cottage has been decorated and furnished to a high standard. The farm has cattle, sheep and hens with footpaths on the doorstep to explore the glorious surrounding countryside. Day passes for fishing (trout) can be arranged by the owner. The royal spa town of Tunbridge Wells is under 5 miles. Visit Brenchley Wood Nature Reserve, Sissinghurst, National Trust castles including Bodiam. Discover award-winning wines at the local vineyards. The nearest coast is about 40 minutes at Hastings. The station at Paddock Wood provides a 50-minute train service to London. Shop and pub 1½ miles.

We had a lovely stay at Cox Cottage.

We had a lovely stay at Cox Cottage. Immaculate and well furnished. Everything we needed plus lots of extra treats. Every care taken to ensure the cottage was covid secure, so we felt totally at ease. Home made meals plus produce from the farm delicious. The cottage is peaceful and quiet, but still in a great location for easily visiting all the lovely gardens in Kent and East Sussex. A real treat to get away from all the worries of the current crisis. Thank you Simon and Lesley for a fantastic stay and taking such care to ensure a safe relaxing holiday. We were warmly welcomed by Simon who was an attentive and informative host throughout our stay. We enjoyed our walk in the nearby woods and seeing the farm animals. The owners were very friendly and helpful.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. The food that we had ordered was in the fridge and waiting to be cooked. The overall standard was one of the best we have stayed in. The location was perfect for the visits we had planned in the area. We enjoyed walking around the farm getting to know their animals. We will be returning next year for another visit.
