Wet Room: Shower, Toilet. Electric storage heaters, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial fuel for wood burner included. Highchair available on request. Enclosed garden with patio and garden furniture. Private parking for 2 cars. Bike store. No smoking. Please note: There are steps in the garden.. This detached, single-storey barn conversion, adjacent to the owners’ home, boasts sea views and is set in a tiny hamlet near Morvah, amidst National Trust moorland, and is under ½ mile from the stunning Cornish coastal path. Just 200 yards away is the B3306 Land’s End to St Ives coastal road, voted one of the most scenic coastal routes in Europe. Heather-clad moorland and historic engine houses are dotted along the landscape, as well as dramatic cliff tops and secluded coves. The climbing cliffs of Bosigran are 1 mile away. The area is popular with walkers, climbers, bird and wildlife enthusiasts, or those looking for a relaxing holiday in tranquil surroundings. Within easy reach is St Ives, Land’s End and Penzance with its long promenade and Jubilee Pool. St Michael’s Mount is also nearby with the historic town of Marazion. There are beautiful beaches at Sennen and Porthcurno, with its famous Minack Theatre. Visit the little village of Zennor, with its historic church and enjoy great food in one of the local pubs, including a gastro pub. Visit art galleries, including Tate St Ives. Maximum number of guests is four (including children and infants). The local Portheras Beach is 1 mile. Pendeen shop and pubs 2 miles.

Very comfortable well equipped cottage in beautiful surroundings. Lots of easy walks from the cottage either inland or to the beach and cliff top walks. Bus stop a few yards away for journeys to St. Ives and Lands End by open top bus. Lots of attractions a short drive away. Visit the sculpture gardens and the gardens at Trewidden. Small garden but with tremendous sea views and beautiful sun sets. Would stay again. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We had a fabulous week at Sparrows.

We had a fabulous week at Sparrows. We have been to Cornwall many times but this was our first time staying in this area. A friendly welcome from owners, who were on hand for local knowledge but who left us to get on with our holiday too. During the hottest days of the year so far, the thick walls of Sparrows kept us cool and comfy after a hot day on the local beaches or cliff walking. The owners knew the best times to travel too- we left at 8:25pm on the Friday and sailed straight back home with no delays. Everything in the cottage was thoughtfully provided and the little garden was great for breakfast on the bench. It suited us beautifully.
