Swallow's Nest is quite delightful; very well furnished to a high standard; we particularly enjoyed the artwork which is vibrant and topical. It is extremely comfortable and has many nice and unexpected touches such as lots of games and DVDs, as well as hairdryers, soap and so on. Very helpful. The boiler room is quite warm which is perfect for drying washing on the lines provided.
We were very lucky and had perfect weather so were able to enjoy walks, with our rescue dog, from the front door. She was in heaven!
The local pub is good, friendly and with nice pub food, plus the cafe in the old school house is just round the corner too. Grassington is only a couple of miles away and has a useful Spar, plus a deli with really tasty frozen dishes, so catering is easy.
We had a great time and although we were only two people, there is plenty of space for five.

The cottage was a delight.
The cottage was a delight. The Clarendon pub in the village excellent. Plenty of walks to do from the cottage. We missed a village shop but Grassington 2 miles away had plenty and a spar shop.
Would definitely return
