Deadwood Meadows is a unique property overlooking a large meadow with 4 Bedrooms/3 Baths. This wondrous property is within minutes of Deadwood, Sturgis, & Spearfish. The Mickelson Trail is close-by, along with Skiing, Snowmobile trails. Tatanka, & the “Lodge at Deadwood Gaming Resort” is within 1 mile from the property!!

This perfect getaway home sleeps up to 16 Guests (can arrange for smaller groups). The Master Bedroom has a King Bed & Private Bath. The guest bedroom has a queen Bed while the 3rd Bedroom has a Queen Bed plus Full-Size Bed. This 3rd Bedroom has access through the Master Bedroom as well as its own private access outside to the deck and hot tub. The 4th Bedroom has 2 Queen Beds plus Full-Size Bed & Private Bath.

You can enjoy the open view of the meadow from the Large Wrap-Around Deck while you soak in the warmth of the hot tub. Sit back, relax and enjoy the satellite TV and WiFi access for those needing to stay connect. You'll also enjoy the double car garage for your ATV's and Snowmobiles for your trip. There's two living areas and plenty of windows to take in the amazing view.

This location was simply amazing. We had deer and lots of turkeys every day. No a/c - no problem. Plenty of cool air so we opened the windows. Plenty of home needs in the house and the tv only got turned on twice (for kids) as the rest of us were enjoying the view. Check In process was simple and directions were exact.

They gave me all the information I needed prior to arrival. It is in the perfect spot! Definitely will be looking into staying here again if we go back to deadwood!

The overall all experience was good. Buddy was helpful and communicated timely and well. The cabin was very nice. A home feel. The few things I was concerned about were minor. Parking is limited and tight to get turned around. A better marker to find the drive would be helpful as it’s easy to pass. All in all it was a good first time

Guy weekend getaway

We had a group of 10 there this year, it is our second year at the location, It was above average temperatures and the house has no air conditioning but the temp drops low enough at night we opened all windows and it cooled the place down so the day was comfortable. Lots of bedrooms, three bathrooms, a two stall garage that we fit 10 motorcycles in. The deck is awesome to sit in during the evening and morning. The location is great right next to Deadwood and the bus will come and give your rides to and from town. Hard to beat.

Perfect Location

We couldn't have asked for a better location to stay. Downtown Deadwood is just down the road and there are plenty of taxi/shuttle services in the area we didn't have to worry about driving. This place is huge, lots of space for big groups and obviously lots of land surrounding the area. The construction going up around the place was a non-issue as there is plenty of tree cover and we didn't even know they were there. Lots of wildlife as well. There was a group of about 7 deer, two bucks and the rest does that were constantly walking around. There were 20+ turkeys as well. Management was great and responsive. Awesome place to stay and would totally come back!

Great place to stay that's super close to Deadwood and Spearfish!

Reviewer Comments: We reserved Deadwood Meadows for our immediate family of 11 and had 3 other family members join us for the long weekend for a family wedding. The cabin is in a great location super close to Deadwood and just a few minutes from Spearfish. The 14 acres has some beautiful scenery and lots of space for outdoor activities and sight-seeing. We had 5 kids with us and they enjoyed the hot tub and the open grassy area to play catch on. There are a couple of rooms in the house that are a bit older than the rest of the house, but it looks like they've renovated the kitchen area. The eating area and dining room were very spacious for lots of company. The house was in good condition and overall we had a wonderful time at your cabin with our family! Thank you! :-)

Hot weather in Deadwood

The first thing we noticed upon arriving on the property was 2 big garage cans overflowing with garbage and garbage sitting on the ground. Then we discovered there was no AC and temps were in the high 90’s. Checked around and found fans. There were very dirty, but we had to try to stay cool. We ended up having to buy some fans. Found a dryer full of towels! A closet that had bedding stuff just thrown on the floor! The shower door was not clean and around the bottom of the shower on the outside didn’t look like it had been cleaned for a very long time. When we observed these things you wonder how clean the rest of the place is. There was plenty of room for our family! Enjoyed the wildlife that roamed the property!

Reviewer Comments: Very spacious home within short distance to local tourist attractions. Unfortunately, the house had cleanliness concerns and mice infestation. Tried to resolve concerns with owners/leasers several times, but no acknowledgement was given or issues addressed. No apologies or solutions to our problems. Hope experience is better for the next renters. No cleaning supplies available at the home to clean up mice excretions or dirty floors.

Bachelorette Getaway

This property was the perfect place for me and my girls to hang out, get ready, and come back and crash for the night. The location has gorgeous views, the house is just beautiful, and the distance to get into Deadwood is perfect. You are outside of town, but not too far away. The house and the feel inside is super homey and comfortable. When you would go out on the deck in the morning or right around sunset, you would see many deer and turkeys just doing their thing. Just beautiful. The patio door did not work for us and we couldn't figure out why. I sent a message to the property manager, and he sent one back right away on how to try and make it work. We tried his trick, but unfortunately, we weren't able to get it to work for us. He apologized for the inconvenience and said once we were gone that he would take a look at it to get it working for the next people. It would have been nice to have working for us, but I understand these things happen. Otherwise, everything worked great for us. I can't recommend this place enough. It was a great experience, and I am already wanting to plan another friend or family trip in the future so we can stay here again!
