We enjoyed a week long holiday with our two children in the cottage this week.

We enjoyed a week long holiday with our two children in the cottage this week. Location: Amazing! So near to everything by car. We love Matlock Bath, Bakewell, Nottingham, Alton Towers and Derby so this was a great location.Cottage: the bedrooms were spacious and our children loved the bunk beds. I was worried the lack of parking would be a problem but the river parking really is just round the corner and we never struggled to get a space. The pavements are very very narrow so just be aware if you have a buggy. Our 4 year old managed it ok, with us keeping a close eye. The cottage was stocked with so much!! I took loo roll, dishwasher tablets, etc but it was all there already. Very unexpected and lovely. Washing machine worked well considering how filthy our children got on our long, muddy walks. Garden: As we went in October, we didn’t really set foot in the garden. However, it’s smaller than the pictures make it look and very overlooked by the neighbour with just a short fence. This might have bothered us more in the summer.Overall a lovely little cottage, brilliant location. Thank you very much to the owners! We would definitely stay again.
