A lovely well appointed cottage tucked away in the countryside, but still only 10-15 minutes from Battle and Hertmonceux. Quiet location with nearby footpaths to explore and a pub only 1/2 a mile's walk away! Comfortable beds, cosy sitting room and good sized kitchen with microwave, hob, oven and toaster. Only a small fridge, which we packed to the brim, so ensure you bear this in mind when doing shopping etc and needing to stre chilled foods. We would stay again if ever back in the area.

The cottage was really comfortable and clean with everything you could need.

The cottage was really comfortable and clean with everything you could need.the free logs for the logburner was a nice touch.however there were no shops or amenities in easy reach without driving.although the pub was only half a mile away the roads are very narrow and when dark not safe to walk.but really nice place to stay in a lovely area of the country.
