Inside you will also find an open-plan sitting, kitchen and dining area, all set-up as a studio accommodation. To the outside is off-road parking, and a lawned garden with a patio. Resting in a wonderful location near the owner's home, The Daffodil Shed is a vibrant retreat in a charming part of England. One pet welcome. Note: Bookings must commence on a Friday or Monday, please be aware your booking may need to be cancelled if you make your booking starting on any other day of the week.

Region: Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Town: Just upstream from Bere Alston on the river Tamar is Morwellam Quay, a tiny harbour where half the world’s copper travelled through in the 1860s, and which is now a popular visitor attraction telling the story of copper mining through history. Trains run between Bere Alston and Plymouth, on the picturesque Tamar Valley line, following the river for much of the route. Bere Alston has a village shop and pub and there are plenty of countryside walks.

Unspoiled Bere Peninsula

I found the Daffodil Shed very comfortable and suitable in every way for my single occupancy; compact but not cramped, neat, clean and very functional.I chose it as I wished to explore the Bere Peninsula but could be constraining if one wanted to explore further as being bounded on two sides by rivers access roads and bridges are narrow. some great vistas to be had from high ground nearby and also on the Tamar Valley Line railway. Lots of rural walks with many footpaths and a mix of wooded and agricultural land use.
