We had a lovely stay; Kangaroo Valley is absolutely stunning. Our stay at Hampden Cottage was very comfortable; the cottage is so welcoming and spotless. The linen and towels were beautiful.We were very fortunate to watch Wally wombat on the back lawn this morning; he's a big, healthy-looking fellow.Thank you for making your accommodation so cosy.

Hampden Cottage Kangaroo Valley

This was the perfect place for a long weekend for my sister and I. Jenny could not have been more helpful. The cottage was beautiful, warm and inviting when we arrived. A great location for exploring the area or just sitting in front of the fire chatting.

Romance

What a perfect place to get away for a romantic weekend away. Wining and Dining in front of a cosy fire. It has everything you need, including toiletries and bath salts for a giant spa! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage and would definitely go back!

Lots of animals in the garden. Quiet and relaxing

Had a wonderful time. The house was lovely and we spent every evening watching wombats at Bendeela recreation area. The most we saw was 42 wombats!!

This property was everything we hoped to get. Clean and comfortable, it had everything we needed to have a lovely few days in Kangaroo Valley. The kitchen is great if you want to self cater, the Hampden bridge is close by and the museum even closer. We loved the decor, the garden and the bathtub. Such a comfortable place. We will be back for sure.

We loved our 2 nights in the hampden cottage. The kitchen and bathroom looked brand new and were well appointed. There was bubble bath for the lovely big bath, an abundance of large towels and wood for the open fire which gave a lovely ambience. The owners were great to communicate with too. We were sad to leave.

Property was perfect for us (4 people). Clean, comfortable. Property was perfect although a noisy local wombat made my sleep a bit interrupted. Not a bad reason to get some interrupted sleep though.

It was very nice and cozy.. until we got woken on our 2nd night at 0300 by the smoke detector.. it kept us awake for the rest of the night. So very tired to get going the next day.

Strange that you would say the cottage was not cleaned nicely. Other reviews compliment the cleanliness of the cottage. Do your think it acceptable for you to: Damage the wooden coffee table leaving hot ring marks when there were coasters supplied. Leave the outside garbage bin full, in the middle of the kitchen floor. Not wash up after yourself. Leave cigarette butts everywhere and dirty BBQ. Pleased to say that Reviews from other Guests find our cottage a delight to stay in.
