WAYMOUNT FARM LUXURY COUNTRY STUDIO

Waymount Farm is a beautifully appointed self-contained luxury country retreat, situated in the heart of the Shoalhaven, South Coast, NSW. The Studio at Waymount Farm is perfect for a family of 5 (Max 2 adults and 3 - 4 children only) or a couple farm stay experience to indulge in the luxurious facilities of pool, outdoor heated spa and sauna or toast marshmallows over an evening fire.

You can enjoy feeding and interacting with our our sheep, lambs, alpacas and horses. Your itinerary will be full with a huge variety of Shoalhaven activities at your doorstep.

For Couples the area offers award-winning wineries, excellent restaurants with music and art festivals offered in the midst of beautiful country air and green rollings hills of the south coast of NSW. Only 20 minutes for the township of historic Berry, enjoy coffee shops, fashion and homeware shops to browse through.

For the bushwalker there are national parks close by with many and varied walking tracks to explore.

For families the area offers wonderful Shoalhaven Zoo, Jamberoo Adventure Park, Tree Tops Adventures, Bundanon Trust Art Gallery and Tours, Shoalhaven pool and water slides, Shoalhaven River Aquatic park for water skiing, kayaking, fishing and bushwalking.

The pristine beaches of Jervis Bay are only 20 minutes away also.

NB Waymount Farm up to May 2018 was offering large group accommodation to 17 guests.

Kim and Kelvin were very accommodating and wonderful with us and our kids and our dog. The kids were collecting freshly laid eggs each morning and helping to Kim to feed the animals as well. They had the absolute best time!The accommodation had everything we needed and it was fantastic to have the pool and spa.Kim and Kelvin also suggested some activities in the local area which we thoroughly enjoyed.The kids are already looking forward to the next stay when the little horses are settled in and able to take rides.Thanks again for having us.

Our family loved our stay at waymount farm, it was the perfect getaway for our family of 5 and our dog. The kids loved following along when the animals were being fed and wandering around the farm. The highlight for the kids was the pool and spa. We will definitely be visiting again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Waymount Farm. Kim and Kelvin were warm and welcoming hosts- respectful to our privacy while also going out of their way to make our stay special. We had a lovely stay. Kelvin was great to deal with and very welcoming. We arrived just in time to feed the sheep and pat the horses and Kelvin had already set the fire up for us to light and welcomed us with a beautiful hamper. The kids loved the spa and sauna and even dipped in the pool for a few moments (despite it being winter and very cold). We felt it was a true farm getaway but were also really central to shops, Nowra, Berry and we loved a little visit to Kangaroo Valley. Lovely stay.
Just out from the guesthouse are the horses stables.

Great get away for the family

We had such a great time escaping the rat race and even though it was only an hour from our house we felt so far away The host were such great people and my kids enjoyed feeding animals and listening to there stories. Thanks for the great time we will be back

Kim and Kelvin Taylor are residents of the property and caretake the grounds, gardens and surrounding environment.

Why they chose this property

Kim and Kelvin purchased this property in 2002 to reserve it for retreats to support and assist survivors of childhood trauma and abuse. Their intention is to establish and build a retreat centre for couples and individuals and eventually groups to enable emotionally focused recovery from PTSD and other stress-related disorders. Kim, previously an RN and now a psychotherapist in Berry and a survivor of abuse and trauma. Kelvin works in Sydney as a graphic designer and senior lead manager for corporate rebranding for Diadem. Kelvin has built a studio to pursue his printmaking, Kelvin Taylor Artist and Printmaker. Kelvin is establishing himself in this medium through exhibitions, accepted as a resident artist at Gerringong FERN STREET Gallery and plans to create retreats at Waymount Farm from his beautiful studio space.
