WAYMOUNT FARM LUXURY COUNTRY STUDIO

Waymount Farm is a beautifully appointed self-contained luxury country retreat, situated in the heart of the Shoalhaven, South Coast, NSW. The Studio at Waymount Farm is perfect for a family of 5 (Max 2 adults and 3 - 4 children only) or a couple farm stay experience to indulge in the luxurious facilities of pool, outdoor heated spa and sauna or toast marshmallows over an evening fire.

You can enjoy feeding and interacting with our our sheep, lambs, alpacas and horses. Your itinerary will be full with a huge variety of Shoalhaven activities at your doorstep.

For Couples the area offers award-winning wineries, excellent restaurants with music and art festivals offered in the midst of beautiful country air and green rollings hills of the south coast of NSW. Only 20 minutes for the township of historic Berry, enjoy coffee shops, fashion and homeware shops to browse through.

For the bushwalker there are national parks close by with many and varied walking tracks to explore.

For families the area offers wonderful Shoalhaven Zoo, Jamberoo Adventure Park, Tree Tops Adventures, Bundanon Trust Art Gallery and Tours, Shoalhaven pool and water slides, Shoalhaven River Aquatic park for water skiing, kayaking, fishing and bushwalking.

The pristine beaches of Jervis Bay are only 20 minutes away also.

NB Waymount Farm up to May 2018 was offering large group accommodation to 17 guests.

Our family loved our stay at waymount farm, it was the perfect getaway for our family of 5 and our dog. The kids loved following along when the animals were being fed and wandering around the farm. The highlight for the kids was the pool and spa. We will definitely be visiting again.

Peaceful and wonderful stay

Wonderful and restful trip, enjoyed feeding lambs, swimming in the pool and relaxing in the hot tub under the stars. Kim and Kelvin were wonderful and welcoming hosts and we will return soon.

Absolutely splendid

A beautiful farm house that was just perfect for us! The pool, spa and sauna were amazing and with my kids loving horses it just was the perfect stay. Kelvin and Kim were a delight throughout and I would highly recommend you find the time to book this one!

The perfect little getaway

Exactly what we wanted and needed. I loved that we could take our fur baby with us and watched her meet the horses and chickens. The spa, sauna and pool were also a big highlight. Owners were very friendly and also allowed us to have privacy. Will definitely stay again one day.

Really enjoyed our stay. Kelvin very welcoming and hospitable. Very quiet and relaxing. Loved meeting the beautiful friendly horses and walks around the paddocks. Accommodation very comfortable, great bed and overall a great stay. Our dog also enjoyed the quiet country life. Recommend.

Farmstay bliss

From the moment we drove into the property to when we left every moment was magical and special. The room was clean, tidy, ultra comfortable. I loved the welcome sign with goodies. The hosts Kim & Kelvin made us feel comfortable and relaxed the entire time we stayed there. We took our German shepherd Xena and her friend Bella along for the stay. Xena loved the pool where as Bella was very amused by the horses and russel the rooster. We will definitely be back for another break.

Absolutely beautiful

The experience was perfect for us. Our kids loved the pool. The surroundings were serenely peaceful, the farm animals were delightful neighbours and Kim and Kelvin the hosts were just lovely human beings. Best of all our dog Ella had the time of her life.

Perfect family escape

Just a perfect spot for a young family. Everything you need. House is so well equipped. Owners are just so friendly and kind to thier animals. We loved waking up to the animals within view from the studio.

It was the perfect break to get away from Sydney and relax. My dog loved it just as much as we did. Kim and Kelvin are lovely hosts and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. They taught us all about the animals on the farm and we got fresh chicken eggs delivered to our door. I had the best birthday at Waymount Farm!!

Best Farm stay ever!!

My kids, hubby and I loved it here so much. We will certainly be back soon. The heated spa is wonderful and the pool is a great size. We loved the sauna in mid winter, what a treat. The kids got to feed baby lambs and cuddle them along with the horses, who were very gentle. With a rooster and plenty of hens all set among the gumtrees it was the compleet farm experience. I almost forgot to mention how we cooked smores in the outdoor fire under a beautiful blanket of stars. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

Unique Luxury & Terrific Hosts

Property is exactly as described on the website and fully equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing week away. Hosts Kelvin and Kim were very welcoming and a pleasure to deal with both during the booking procedure and throughout our week there. It was lambing season during our stay and our hosts kindly allowed my wife to bottle feed some of the new born lambs. We had our dog with us and she had a great time - plenty of room for her to run around and play. Very close to several wineries and only a short drive to some good cafes and restaurants. Looking forward to returning in the summer to make good use of the pool and spa. Kim and Kelvin, thank you for a great week. Phil & Terry.

Working couple break

Arrived at the property, owners are lovely, just disappointed in a few things. The bed isnt couple friendly, and has a hard lump in the middle so no cuddling. The kitchen has no room to store your food, it's all taken up with too many cups, plates and bowls. It adjoins the main house so not as much privacy as I thought and the horse paddock is next to it which is fine except it wasn't clean and the smell of poo comes into the house. Lots of animal poo on the pavers and paddocks which was off putting.

My husband, myself and our kelpie had the best stay.Everything from beginning to end went very smoothly, the hosts are lovely, as is the accommodation.We totally switched off and found ourselves staring out of the cabin to the view for hours, as if it was a T.V.It was my birthday and Kim and Kelvin left us a care package, which included Champagne and chocolates. Very nice and accommodating hosts , the location is relaxing and convenient for a couple or a small family, jacuzzi and sauna were a blessing, it was cold for a dip in the swimming pool but next time will book in summer . Its also close to lots of nice wineries and beautiful beaches

We had a lovely stay. Kelvin was great to deal with and very welcoming. We arrived just in time to feed the sheep and pat the horses and Kelvin had already set the fire up for us to light and welcomed us with a beautiful hamper. The kids loved the spa and sauna and even dipped in the pool for a few moments (despite it being winter and very cold). We felt it was a true farm getaway but were also really central to shops, Nowra, Berry and we loved a little visit to Kangaroo Valley. Lovely stay.
Just out from the guesthouse are the horses stables.

Why they chose this property

Kim and Kelvin purchased this property in 2002 to reserve it for retreats to support and assist survivors of childhood trauma and abuse. Their intention is to establish and build a retreat centre for couples and individuals and eventually groups to enable emotionally focused recovery from PTSD and other stress-related disorders. Kim, previously an RN and now a psychotherapist in Berry and a survivor of abuse and trauma. Kelvin works in Sydney as a graphic designer and senior lead manager for corporate rebranding for Diadem. Kelvin has built a studio to pursue his printmaking, Kelvin Taylor Artist and Printmaker. Kelvin is establishing himself in this medium through exhibitions, accepted as a resident artist at Gerringong FERN STREET Gallery and plans to create retreats at Waymount Farm from his beautiful studio space.
