Jervis Bay Accommodation - ABSOLUTE WATERFRONT BEACHFRONT - Large, modern, family friendly house on Callala Beach. The best house, where your garden meets the sand.

Watersedge has 5 bedrooms with 2 large living areas. The dining room has a Tallowwood table and sits 10 with an open plan gourmet and fully equipped stainless steel and granite Kitchen. The lounge and dining rooms opens up to a large covered patio and garden overlooking the beach seating 12. There is a large garden perfect for families and private steps going down to one of the whitest beaches in the world. The bay is regularly visited by pods of dolphins and truly spectacular for a summer or winter getaway.

There is a separate lounge room with a table tennis area and sitting area which works well when with a few families. There is also a secluded courtyard.

There are 5 Bedrooms all on one level. Bedrooms 1 and 2 have queen size beds and ensuite bathrooms. Bedrooms 3,4 and 5 have 2 single beds in each.

Watersedge is all on single level and has no internal steps and is therefor great for kids and older folks.

This is a truly fabulous house in a wonderful location. Its an easy 2.5hour drive from Sydney. In Callala Beach, there is a lovely park across the road, and fabulous walks on your door steps. It is a great base to explore Jervis Bay where you are 20-30minutes drive from the wineries in Coolangatta and 35 minutes to Berry.

We are conscious of guests with allergies and we therefore cannot accept pets.

Fantastic location and great for groups

The location could not have been better! Fabulous views and could hear the ocean while we slept. It’s a great house for a group although note not fence between the ocean and the property so had to really keep an eye on quick “runner” of a toddler! A few things to note - there are some basic supplies left over from previous guests but no oil, glad wrap, foil etc which is a bit frustrating when you’re only staying for a few nights. For the price it’d be nice if a few more “basics” were provided like tea and coffee, oil, foil etc and body wash. Overall though a brilliant stay and the owner very kindly gave us a late check out which was very kind! Would definitely stay again.

The position of the house is lovely with direct access to the beach. The house itself is comfortable but could do with some maintenance - beds are on the short side, and the outdoor furniture needs cleaning. Some wood for the heater would have been a nice addition, as well as fresh milk/bread in the fridge. But overall a very enjoyable stay.

What a find! A few friends and I wanted a break from Sydney to get away from the busy work lives that have been made worse due to Covid and we definitely found the spot to relax. The property is spacious, has all the creature comforts, beautifully maintained, a stones throw from the beach with million dollar views of the ocean (we were greeted by dolphins on the first evening itself). Mike (owner) was professional, friendly, thorough with details (lots of it) and was a pleasure to deal with before, during and after our stay. He provided us early check in and late check out - which made the stay all the more delightful. I would highly recommend this property and would love to return in the future.

Exceptional property and outstanding experience

This was one of the best homes we have stayed in on home & away. The house is fantastic and a great space for two families with amazing beach access and views. We sat and watched the dolphins swim by each morning, followed by endless fun on the beach all day then a cosy warm fire at night. The kitchen is well equipped to enjoy home cooked meals and the space is great. Michael the owner’s communication was fantastic from the moment we booked until after we had departed. Exceptional service and we greatly appreciated the late checkout. We will definitely be back. Thanks Michael!

10/10 Beachfront Beauty!

We had an amazing long weekend at Watersedge! We were greeted with epic views from the moment we walked in. The house is spacious with plenty of room for 3 families. The rooms are clean and the kitchen is well-stocked. The indoor fireplace kept the house nice and toasty during those chilly winter nights. Linen and blankets are also provided. The kids loved having direct access to the beach and watching the dolphins swim by. The ping-pong table and Foxtel kept them busy when the sun went down. My fave part was the large alfresco dining area. It’s perfect for brekky with a view or winding down to the sound of the waves with a cheeky wine (or three!). Mike is an excellent host - helpful, friendly and down to earth. He answered all of my queries and even provided additional info/suggestions for things to do around the area. Thanks Mike, I’m already planning our next visit!

Watersedge has been our family holiday home for over 20 years. As kids we spent every holidays and most weekends with our parents all year round. We have such special memories from our trips down, be it the unique and exquisite beach, the aqua clear waters, watching the dolphins, walks and playtime on the beach, playing in the park across the road or just unwinding with family and friends on the patio or around the fireplace. We now go down with our own kids and friends, it is a highlight for them!

We love renting out our family home to other families and love hearing about the fabulous time they have and special memories they've been able to create in our special place.

Why they chose this property

When we first bought watersedge it was a little fishing shack in an unheard of sleepy town. Over the years, in the same way we rebuilt and upgraded our home, we watched all the other little fishing shacks go through the same transformation.

Callala Beach has grown up over the years and we are so thrilled that we can share our little piece of heaven with you all.

What makes this property unique

Our home was built for us, for our very large extended family to enjoy and settle in. It's cosy, homely and well equipped with pretty much everything you need. We spend weeks in the house, bake and entertain like we would at home - it's all there! It's designed and equipped to keep you cool in the summer and cosy and warm in the winter, and to allow you to enjoy the beach all year round.
