Outside BBQ & loverly covered out door area to sit & enjoy the Garden. The property is Dog Friendly fully fenced. A beautiful Garden for all to enjoy.
The cottage is centrally located in the village on a large 2 acre entry .. 1 Ford Street Rydal

The historic township of Rydal has a Beautiful Railway station, Park & Show Ground.
The historic township is set in a picturesque valley only a short distance from many of the fascinating towns in the area.
A sleepy little village where the local pub Hotel Alexander a 5 minute walk & is the focal point for both locals and visitors and many a yarn is shared.

We loved our little getaway at the cosy RydalCottage. Sitting by the open fire place, listening to laughing kookaburras or drinking tea and looking at the beautiful gardens was very relaxing. A warm electric blanket was a plus. Thank you for having us!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming little cottage. The garden is absolutely beautiful and makes the whole place feel peaceful and special. The host was warm, welcoming, and very attentive. We will definitely stay here again!

Perfect winter get away! Lovely cottage and surrounds. Couldn't have asked for more. Carol was wonderful! We arrived at night and were very grateful to find the cottage was warm and the fireplace was set up ready to go. Location was great, only 2 hours drive and everyone in the town was so welcoming. We had a great time away with our puppy! Thank you so much for having us. We will definitely be back!

Rydal cottage was a delight. Clean, very comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed an open fire of an evening with plenty of firewood provided. The grounds were picturesque and fenced to be pet friendly. The communication from the host was appropriate and informative. We highly recommend the cottage and host, and look forward to future visits.

We had an amazing experience at Rydal Cottage. The cottage was perfect, the grounds superb and the features amazing, Carol has thought of everything. Our dog was immediately at home in the extensive garden and preferred to be out exploring than inside - that was of course until we lit the fire and then he was on his rug hugging the heat!Will definately be back, thanks Carol!

Rydal Cottage weekend stay

Great kitchen and bathroom facilities, cozy and warm with great fireplace, lovely big garden. Fantastic place for a couple to get away for a quiet stay, and bonus our dog could come along too.

We love Rydal Cottage. Beautiful little cottage set amongst fabulous gardens with everything you need for cosy weekend or extended stay. Clean, tidy with world of charm. Our fur babies love running around the garden. Carol met us on arrival which was lovely, communication and check in were easy. I highly recommend staying here. Quaint little town close to Lithgow, Japanese Bathhouse and the Zig Zag railway.

We booked for my daughter wedding. It was close to the venue and our fur babies were welcome. They loved the large area we had. The cottage was very clean and it was very interesting seeing the photos from the original cottage to what it has been created into. I would recommend this rental

Why they chose this property

I had spent time at Rydal & in 2004 purchased the property that was derelict at that stage. A workers Cottage built in the 1800 that was surrounded by run down paddocks.
I enjoyed restoring the Cottage & developing the gardens.
Locals asked me to open my garden for the towns Daffodil Festival so added more gardens & lots of Daffodils.
I love the peace of this Beautiful Town , friends & nabours.

Rydal Cottage is very comfortable, cosy cottage & has a Romantic Charm.
Set on 2 acres the garden area is beautiful & feels like a peaceful private park.
