This 3 bedroom, 2 full bath, 1750 square foot cabin is the perfect lake getaway. The house has a deep wrap around front porch overlooking Clarks Hill lake. The lake is clearly visible from all of the rooms in the house. Two of the bedrooms have plush-top queen beds and the third bedroom is set up as a kid's bunk room and contains 2 twin beds and a set of bunk beds. The entire house was freshly painted in 2024.
This house is perfect for a fishing trip, family vacation or serene retreat for those looking for some peace and quiet.
The covered dock always has deep water and is perfect for boating, swimming and overall lake fun.

Lake Strom Thurmond, also known as Clarks Hill Lake, is a reservoir at the border between Georgia and South Carolina in the Savannah River Basin. It was created by the J. Strom Thurmond Dam during 1951 and 1952 by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers near the confluence of the "Little River" and the Savannah River. At 71,000 acres (290 km2), it is the third-largest artificial lake east of the Mississippi River, behind the Kentucky Lake on the Tennessee River and Lake Marion on the Santee River. The J. Strom Thurmond Dam is located upstream from Augusta, Georgia.

Family Vacation

Our family of 8 had a wonderful time in this house! Some of the important things to us were; shade on the dock, deep water at the dock, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was stocked well with cooking supplies, and the house was clean. The owner was so nice, very accommodating and very helpful! I will definitely be renting again, hopefully next summer. Highly recommend!

Great Lake House on Lake Thurmond

This is a very nice property with great views of the lake from everywhere in the house. House was very clean and nicely furnished with a well stocked kitchen. The layout is great, with three comfortable bedrooms upstairs and two full baths (one upstairs and one down), which worked well for our group of 4 adults. There is a nice covered dock, which would be perfect for swimming or boating in warmer weather. The surrounding neighborhood was very quiet during our stay, although probably a little busier during summer months. This is a good location for golfing at Savannah Lakes or if you are attending the Masters in Augusta (about 50 miles away). The owner (Meg) was very responsive and easy to work with - we would definitely consider staying here again!

Great place for lake trip

This place is in a convenient location on Clark’s Hill Lake. The dock should always have deep water. Easy walk from the house down to the water. House was clean with all you could need for a comfortable stay. Air wasn’t working when we arrived but the owner was very quick to respond and a repairman was there early the next morning to get it fixed. The repairman was very friendly and professional. This was our second year staying at this property and we would go back again.

Family Getaway

Really enjoyed our stay here. It was our first lake experience for the kids and they couldn’t get enough of it (if you have littles or non-swimmers definitely bring a life vest to swim with as there is no shallow section). We enjoyed fishing, swimming, and kayaking (we brought our own) on the lake. The house was well stocked and had plenty of linens. Beds were comfortable and the toys were a great touch for the kids. Overall we had an awesome time.

Our family throughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful lakefront cabin. We have rented many places and this by far was one of the cleanest and best stocked homes we have ever rented. Kitchen is much larger than it looks and it was great for cooking meals. Nice that all bedrooms are upstairs so kids were able to sleep in while mom and dad enjoyed the sunrise with a cup of coffee and quiet! Kids loved the bunk room and the closet full of toys. Owner was great to work with and we look forward to staying again next year!
