We really enjoyed cozy atmosphere and the sound of the river gently flowing by the cabin. And the beds were super for getting us rested up for the next day's adventures.
This place was perfect for our family of four. Loved the peacefulness of the surroundings. Being greeted by the river, the mountains and the horses every morning was so nice! The owners were nice to talk to and special thanks to Boone for letting my teenage son hang out and talk with you in the evening. You made him want to move to Wyoming. Cody will forever hold a special place in our hearts and we would definitely stay here again!
The property was very clean. It was close to Cody with easy access and parking. The owners were very nice and helpful. I would definitely stay with them again.
This property worked great for my husband and I to get away and relax in the Cody/Yellowstone area. The property is located a few miles southwest of Cody right along the south fork of the Shoshone River and my husband was able to fly fish right outside our cabin. The lighting in the cabin was great for the times I wanted to do some reading or knit. We enjoyed meeting and talking with Shirley and Boone, the property owners. They were very welcoming and helpful to us. We took the 30-mile drive on South Fork Road and saw some of the most beautiful country we have ever seen. We'd like to go back in the spring if we can. We would definitely stay at the property again. Although there is no stove in the cabin, the basic things were there in order to cook what we needed. Our phone app didn't quite take us to the right place when we tried to find the property - it was close though. If you just stay on South Fork Road and watch the house address numbers you should be able to find it with no problem.
Loved enjoying the scenery early in the morning and after a busy day, especially listening to the river at night with the windows open. Great little place, comfortable beds, and we enjoyed the wide variety of activities in the Cody area!
We didn’t get to spend much time at the property but the relaxing scenic views and comfortable accommodations were just what we needed after traveling and running around Yellowstone. We had everything we needed. It was even better than we expected from the listing pictures. We hope our travels bring us back here again someday.
We had no idea what to expect when arriving but this property surpassed all expectations. The view was stunning. The cabin was homey and comfortable and very clean. It had everything we needed and more. Boone and Shirley were the most gracious hosts. They met us in the driveway, introduced themselves and told us to let us know if we needed anything. Communicating with their property manager did the hosts no justice and that is the only semi-negative thing we have to say. Close to Cody but far enough away to feel like youre in the country. Fishing was great right from the property. The kids loved the goats! Thank you guys so much for having us. We will be back!
Very nice cabin on a great river property. If lucky enough to meet the owners, they are super friendly. They gave us lots of tips and advice about the area. There are horses and goats nearby as well. Fun to watch and interact with. We brought in some firewood and had campfires every night. The cabin is very clean and has nice stock of essential plates, silverware, and cooking supplies. The grill outside works well with a small propane canister.
The pictures on the website/app don’t really do justice to this place. Thanks again!
I reserved this property on 6/24/20. Our check in date was to be 7/4/20. When we arrived after driving 22 hours with our 3 children, no one was there and I could not get in touch with Katie Marcus. I called and emailed and texted and sent messages through VRBO. After being there for over an hour and seeing other people's belongings, I called customer service. At that time I got an email from Katie stating that she had no idea how it slipped her mind. She MEANT to cancel our reservation because the property owner had family there. This was on Saturday the 4th of July in Cody, WY. Finding a hotel was not possible. Thankfully VRBO was able to find something and put us up in a hotel for 2 days. With having 5 people however, we had to get 2 rooms. I had to rent a more expensive condo for the rest of our Yellowstone vacation. Katie has stated she gave me a refund but my bank is still not showing it....This was 9 days ago. She never called to apologize. Just said she tried to call but she was in the mountains and I didn't answer. I did not ever receive a voicemail. I am not one to leave reviews and I wait to cool down before I did. Just very disappointed.
So comfortable and clean...1 suggestion would be to add a small table and couple of chairs to sit at to eat!! Really nice place!!

The cabin and setting was very nice
It would have been nice if the owners had given us some information on the house and where things were. We never found a trash can for the kitchen, needed more towels and did not find them until we had purchased some. We were not sure what we neede to before we left

Small nice property with great owners
The cabin is small, but clean and nice. The surrounding area is beautiful and we saw whitetail and mule deer as well as antelope on every drive and walk around the cabin. The owners were very friendly and offered advice on things to do in the area. I would stay there again if we come back to Cody.

The cabin was perfect for the stay with all the kitchen amenities and wi-fi. The place was beautiful besides the river in between mountains. It was close to Cody and other conveniences.

Beautiful, comfortable with plenty of room.
Location was perfect for you us. Mountain hiking, fishing, nightly rodeo, close enough to town. Owners were wonderful, there when we needed, good local knowledge and allowed us privacy. House was as advertised, very clean. We will stay here again! Thank you
