Valley Beyond - Peace and tranquility. PET Friendly. Free Wi Fi

Peace and tranquillity and a great three-bedroom country house all to yourself. And only five minutes from some of the best boutique wineries in Australia. Your self-contained, fully-equipped house feels like it's a million miles away from everyone. Sit on the front verandah gazing at the beautiful view, or spend the day sampling award winning wines all within minutes of your house. There is plenty of space for the kids and your well loved DOG to run around. Yes PETS WELCOME !!
Wi - Fi now INSTALLED - Reception problem solved ! Password given prior to your stay.

Beds will be Made & Towels Provided.

Accommodation

Three spacious bedrooms comfortably sleep up to 8 people. Two bedrooms have queen-size beds while the other has two double bunks. All bedrooms have cooling fans, alarm clock/radios and access or views to one of the verandahs.
The lounge-room is equipped with TV, DVD player and stereo system, the kitchen has a microwave and a dishwasher to make life that little bit easier and even a washing machine and dryer just in case you run out of clean clothes.
If you not wanting to use the well equipped kitchen, stoke up a Barbie and enjoy that glass of wine !

Where we are and local attractions

Valley Beyond is located in the hills above Mt View just over 12 kilometres (12 minutes) from Cessnock in the southern part of the Hunter Valley wine region.

All the wonderful facilities the Hunter Valley has to offer, over a hundred cellar door wineries, internationally acclaimed golf courses, sensational restaurants and cafes, horse riding, 4WD trips, ballooning etc., are at your fingertips.

HOW TO GET THERE:
Coming from Sydney

Travel past the Cessnock High School & sports grounds on your left. Go straight through the first set of traffic lights at the intersection of Vincent Street and Aberdare Road following the Wollombi and Bellbird signs to Wollombi Road. Turn left into Wollombi Road. Drive for 5 km, through the village of Bellbird past the Bellbird Hotel and turn right into Kendall Street. The Bellbird Mine Memorial Park is on the corner. Follow Kendall St (becomes Bimbadeen Rd) for 4.3 klms up into the hills until it meets Mt View Rd. Turn LEFT into Mt View Rd (following signposts to Millfield Winery and Cedars) and continue to the very top of the hill . . . . .

Coming from Wollombi

Take the Wollombi Rd north towards Cessnock. At Bellbird (about 12 km from Wollombi) turn left into Kendall St (signposted) just after Memorial Park. Follow Kendall St (becomes Bimbadeen Rd) for 4.3 klms up into the hills until it meets Mt View Rd . Turn LEFT into Mt View Rd (following signposts to Millfield Winery and Cedars) and continue to the very top of the hill . . .

Coming from Pokolbin

Head towards the Mt View area. Get onto Mt View Rd heading towards Briar Ridge or Petersons wineries and continue past those wineries up Mt View Rd. At the Bimbadeen Rd continue straight ahead and up the hill to the very top . . .

At the Top of the Hill

. . . at the top of the hill a tarred road runs off to your left to the Bimbadeen lookout and Mt View Rd continues straight on as a dirt road. Continue along Mt View Rd for about 50 metres and follow it left and down the hill (there is a street sign where you turn left). Conitue on this road for about 2 kms, cross a bridge and the Valley Beyond is the first house on your left after the bridge.

Yes the hosts were very welcoming, beautiful tranquil spot, the fur babies love it. It rained on our full day there which suited us fine we rested and watched movies and walked the doggies in the dry parts of the day. The house has all the amenities and we cooked up many great meals.

A lovely spacious property a short distance to a wide range of wineries and other family activities. The property has more than enough plates, glasses, etc. and the Lin thoughtfully provided tea, coffee, olive oil, spices and other basics. The décor but fits the original farm house aesthetic perfectly and still has all the mod cons like a washing machine, dryer and dishwasher. I can recommend the property for a relaxing holiday a short drive from Sydney.

Just a Delightful Property

A wonderful 3 days of tranquility in a very generous home. Our hosts are very particular about their property and nothing is out of place ; beautifully maintained. We enjoyed very spacious living zones and cosy bedrooms.The first property we have had with a truly fenced area of large proportions. Could not recommend more highly.Just needs some Rockcrete at the gate to stop your driver side wheel finding itself in a big ditch!

Brilliant country house in a spectacular area.

We absolutely loved the property! It is tucked away in a pocked of Mount View. Close enough to the wineries but far enough that you feel like youve really escaped. Sitting on the verandah was heaven! We cant wait to come back!

Wonderful relaxing place to stay ! A country experience!

Our family had a wonderful 4 nights away! Our dogs loved it as well as there was plenty of room outside for them to run around which was fully enclosed by a high fence( giving us peace of mind). Recommend it to anyone wanting a country escape with close access to the vineyards.

Valley beyond is perfection

Everything was fantastic easy to get to and relaxation plus. Perfect for people and their pets. So close to everything but yet feels so far away. Wouldn't even try to book anywhere else,this was our second stay won't be our last.

We have stayed at this house on several occasions previously and just love it! This time we took my parents and dog for a family weekend and we all enjoyed the tranquility of the place. Sitting on the front deck is just so relaxing. It has everything you need. Can’t wait to go back.
