1700 sq ft stilt home with 3 bedroom/2bath on deep water canal. Layout of the house is an open concept with a view of the marsh and canal from the kitchen, dining room, and master bedroom. Inside washing machine and dryer, screened back patio, and great under house space for barbques. Boat dock for boat, kayaks, and paddle board make it easy to be on the water. Daily sightings of either manatee, dolphin, otters, and many different birds. If u want a sunset that’s out of this world, this house is for u!

This home is absolutely beautiful and the grounds and neighborhood are spectacular. Perfect for taking walks, sitting in the sun, watching dolphins/manatees swim in the channel, and relaxing on the screen porch. We didn't rent a boat, but you could easily dock one at this property; I believe the neighbor (who has a large boat) said the channel/canal is about 8' deep in the center. It's just a short boat ride to the main body of water (less than a couple of minutes).There are many great eateries nearby (Nature Coast, The Mill, The Freezer, JR's Smashburger, Two Guys From Italy, etc.), so you'll never go hungry! We had a wonderful stay -- Angie is a great host and we will definitely be back.

Absolutely loveee this property !!! We will definitely be back before the end of the year to go scalloping one more time it takes about 30 mins to get out into the ocean from the dock perfect location very clean house and all you need to bring is you’re clothes as this house has it all !!! Home away from home

This place is well stocked with everything that you would need for a great stay. Our 25ft pathfinder fit well at their dock. We would definitely stay here again. It was clean and in a great location!

This place is awesome. As a boater, it’s a prime location for access to everything and the house itself is gorgeous(especially the tempur-pedic master bed!).We encountered a major issue with our boat, and ended up needing to stay in the area extra days waiting for a mechanic to come fix it. Angie offered to help and allow us to stay extra days, as well as allow us to bring the kayak and paddleboard back after we had checked out from the house since they were stuck on our boat.In an extremely disappointing and frustrating end to our stay, we were thankful to have good hosts.

Beautiful river retreat

A newly renovated home perfect for our group of two families with 4 adults and 3 children with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths (description said one bath but there are 2 nice/large full baths). Ample dock space for our 24’ boat and parking for trailer. Just minutes from public ramp and easy access to main river branch. Home is comfortable, clean, and has an incredibly well stocked kitchen! Charcoal grill and great outdoor space for enjoying gorgeous sunsets and watching kids fish off the dock.Host is a great communicator!

River House Retreat

We had a great experience at this property. The owner was extremely helpful and she made us feel at home, immediately when we arrived. She checked in on us often to make sure everything was good. We were very impressed with the amenities, kitchen and home very well stocked with everything we needed. We were advised of restaurants etc to enjoy around the area. It was comforting as well she was concerned about our well being through the announcement of COVID19 and very accommodating when we had to return home early. Thank you Angie for sharing your beautiful home. We will certainly return when available to stay again and recommend the River House to others without hesitation. Kathy & Ray
