Escape to paradise in this lovely unit, equipped with all the conveniences of home. Open floor plan includes a kitchen with granite counters and stainless steel appliances. Fully equipped for meal preparation, the kitchen is stocked with mixer, toaster, microwave, crock-pot, coffee pot (Keurig Duo). The large island makes meal prep convenient and has bar stools for easy entertaining. The dining area provides seating for six.
Our home is tastefully decorated with seaside colors and themes. Ceiling fans in each bedroom and living room. Blinds in all windows and room darkening curtains in bedrooms. Bedding, linens and towels provided and are NOT commercial laundry service. We check everything ourselves. TV in living room and each TV in bedrooms are wi-fi connected directly or thru a Roku device. The master bath has a floor to ceiling tiled shower with double sink granite vanity. The second full bathroom provides a tub/shower combo. You will have everything you need including blow dryer, iron/ ironing board and a High Efficiency washer/dryer
The HUGE deck on the side of the building has multiple seating arrangements and a large table and chairs to enjoy meals, snacks or play cards or board games when the weather allows. A charcoal grill is available (located under the building). Just roll out to the side yard, safely away from building and grill fresh fish from your catch or local market! Afternoons and evenings are the perfect time to catch a breeze on the deck and nap or read a book. This is also a favorite spot for drinks, a cigar or visiting with family and friends. If interested, we can connect you with a fully licensed boat captain who provides eco tours of the areas' water systems and Dolphins!
We are located in the middle of the most beautiful beaches on the "Forgotten Coast". 2 miles from Historic downtown Apalachicola. Only a 15 min drive to St. George Island and Eastpoint, home of Lynn's seafood market and restaurant (try the smoked mahi dip). Lynn's and The Owl Café were featured in the July 2016 issue of Southern Living. Take a right out of our driveway and you are a short 20 min drive to Indian Pass Trading Post (oh those Oysters), Cape San Blas (gorgeous blue water), Port St. Joe (shopping and restaurants) and Mexico Beach. We are approximately 60 miles from Panama City Beach... in case you miss the crowds.
*Please make prior arrangements for boat parking if you are bringing one. There is one vehicle parking space assigned to each condo unit under the building. All other vehicles should be parked directly behind building. Soft ground on side of building will trap your vehicle.
**We are sorry but no pets (of any type) are accepted. You will be asked to vacate the property (with no refund) when confirmed. Owners are often at the property upstairs and outside security cameras are in use. Any guest caught tampering with security cameras will have their vacation terminated with no refund.

About the host
Hosted by Michelle & Tracey

Tracey & Michelle are considered "semi-retired", but they have never been busier. Both had long careers in retail (sporting goods stores and major gas stations), security, bartending, state and federal law enforcement jobs. They have entrepreneurial spirits, are nature and animal lovers, and sports enthusiasts. There is no greater enjoyment these days than riding with Master Captain Cathy Buell on her boat and watching the dolphins play!
Why they chose this property
After several visits to this quaint historic town, Tracey & Michelle decided to buy property and make Apalach a more permanent vacation spot. The town is lovely and is a simple, slower pace of life. People are friendly and there is something fun to do every minute as long as its before 9pm!. It's a place where neighbors help neighbors and everyone wears a smile!
What makes this property unique
This unique property is positioned in the middle of the most beautiful beaches in the white sands of the "Forgotten Coast". It is not overly crowded but busy enough to create excitement with the many fun activities all year long. No matter what time of year you visit, you will have warm to mild temperatures and leave a little room for some "Sunshine in your pocket". You will just fall in love with Apalach.
