Beautiful location, clean and comfortable. We had a problem on the second day with the spa water but the owners came and helped. Overall had a great stay again, this being our second time. Would totally recommend for a couples getaway from the stresses of life to come together and connect with each other.

The location was lovely, but we felt that the furniture looked quite old and outdated, though it was clean and tidy. For 335 per night, we thought it was a little pricey. A welcoming basket of goodies would have been a nice touch too, something to think about for future guests.
We had a lovely stay. It was everything we expected and more. Loved waking up to the sound of kookaburras and enjoying a cuppa next to the lake. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cottage.
Lakeside chalet is a superb location and ambience for a relaxing retreat.
Great country feel and just a few minutes from the town.
Chalet is beautifully equipped.
Looking forward to returning.
A wonderful, peaceful and charming cottage nestled amongst gorgeous garden with pond with birds and ducks.
Perfect location just out of town.
Would come back in a flash
A spacious, pretty private Chalet in the woods surrounded in roses. It's so peaceful and there's decking overlooking a lake which we loved the look of. The spa was always lovely and warm and we enjoyed the MANY seating areas around the chalet. Michael was an awesome host and made us both very welcome. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay.
Thank you Rita and Michael for a lovely stay at the cabin. We absolutely loved the beautiful and peaceful surroundings and appreciated that the cabin had everything we needed and was very clean.
Would definitely recommend this stay to others.
Thanks again x

Gorgeous cottage!
We loved Hillview Chalet. We'd been looking forward to our stay and we weren't disappointed. On our arrival we found the wood fire raging and the outdoor spa ready to go. What a treat! In the morning we woke to the sound of birds in beautiful gardens surrounding the chalet. Thank you Rita and Michael for letting us stay in your little piece of paradise.
A very well appointed chalet perfect for a couples retreat. My wife and I had a relaxing weekend here. The chalet was clean and perfect for us to relax and unwind. The spa was ready for us on arrival which we instantly used to unwind. We were uninterrupted all weekend and enjoyed the great outdoor area surrounded by the lovely gardens. Will certainly be back and would 100% recommend this place for a couple wanting to unwind and connect.
The chalet is set in beautiful surroundings. with plenty of outside space and seating. The owners also live on-site and so can deal with any minor issues.
The chalet has two beds, and so can accommodate 2 couples, but one of the beds is on an open mezzanine floor accessed via a narrow circular staircase. It would be ideal for a romantic getaway for a single couple.
Everything was neat and clean and the bathroom was very nice.
Had the best stay in the most beautiful cottage , in Denmark. Lakeside Garden chalet.
The most peaceful scenery , beautiful ponds with adorable ducks , two ponds .
Large and small. Beautiful birds, blue wrens and all sorts in the garden . So many seating places outside , along with an amazing spa , we didn’t want to leave .
Also everything clean and very well stocked.
Our Amazing Hosts , Rita and Michael went out of there ways if we asked for anything .
Thank you so much , both of you and your adorable dogs Martha and Stanley . We will be back soon.

Disliked: Check-in
The outdoor areas did not live up to the photos - for example the deck was covered in duck and bird toilet making it almost unusable. The furniture was rusty and cobwebby. The inside was lovely but the basic supplies were more or less empty - shower gel, soap, dishwasher powder, teabags.

Overall a lovely stay
Pictures make the cottage look like it is very secluded while in fact it is actually just across the driveway from the main house, did find some cobwebs around light fixtures in the bedroom roof area etc. Cleaning could use more attention to detail, however, the cottage is beautiful and well equipped I was a lovely weekend.
We stayed for 2 days as had a friends wedding to go to. The place was very comfortable. We didn’t get much use of the great facilities like bbq and spa, but it was very enjoyable as close to town centre for coffee. One recommendation would be a coffee pod machine with a long life milk in fridge for the quick coffee in morning if arrived late without getting to do that iga shop
This was chosen because of the stunning garden space. Very relaxing with many places to sit and relax. Enjoy the frog chorus at night. The second bedroom is on the mezzanine floor via a spiral staircase. Very comfortable accommodation.
Beautiful property thoroughly enjoyed our stay 10 out of 10. We will be definitely booking this property again loved it

It's a lovely chalet with a beautifully landscaped yard, the spa was perfect for evenings after our hikes and it's so close to the town centre you can walk there. Will definitely look forward to visiting again. Rita and Michael are absolute gems to share this serene getaway with the world. They're so kind and generous, we felt warmly welcomed and enjoyed every minute.
