Lovely property perfect mix of modern faculties mixed with country surrounding. Host was always quick to respond to queries and very friendly. Check in and out was easy.
We had a lovely stay at the property. Very quiet and peaceful, great area for kids and dog to play, the whole grass space and gardens well maintained surrounded by so much beautiful nature. Really enjoyed the lemon tree! Great facilities inside and out. A wonderful incredibly enjoyable stay, we will definitely be back.
Great location and outdoor area, beautiful gardens and room for dog to run. Inside house was a lot more spacious than anticipated. Well set up house and kitchen.
We had an amazing stay at Little John property. House was clean and well equipped. Weather wasn’t the best but didn’t take anything away from the weekend and didn’t stop the dogs enjoying a swim in the dam. Spent our time relaxing by the fire, sipping wine and playing games with the kids.
Lovely property in peaceful location but close to beaches, Dunsborough, restaurants and wineries. Great for families and friends especially your fury four legged ones.

We’ve stayed here a few times and it is continually everyone’s favourite down South stay. The fire pit was a nice addition this time. We’ll be back next winter for more.
Absolutely fantastic, the facilities were excellent and location was perfect to getaway from th hustle and bustle of the city. Highly recommend and we'll be back 100%
Overall everything was OK. The only downside, there is no heating option in the rooms.

Thank you Norbert for staying at littlejohn , I’m glad you enjoyed your time.
We do have a split system upstairs for heating and cooling and downstairs there is the fire but on very cold nights the bedrooms can be chilly . We have put a portable column heater in one of the bedrooms and will look into other options for the other two bedrooms. So thanks for your feedback. Regards geraldine
Beautiful property and home for a winter escape from the city with our family and pet dogs. Kids loved the paddock and looking at the ducks and kangaroos, we loved walking the trail behind the property and the dogs were in heaven running about all day. Lovely and warm with a toasty fire each night and a fire pit to roast marshmallows. Thank you, we would definitely visit again!
Thanks Tegan we love having you as guests and were happy you returned again to Littlejohn.

A beautiful, welcoming place with loads of space for two families and furry family members too.
We loved our stay at Little John. The kids enjoyed the paddock and tree house and spotting the roos in the evening. It is also a great location for access to our faviourite beaches, Yallingup, Meelup and Eagle Bay. Well equipt kitchen and laundry. Just a beautiful house to stay in with everything you need. Jack our whippet love it too. We will certainly stay again and recommend to our friends and family.

Thank you for your review. We are so glad you all had a lovely time at Little John
And hope to see you back.
We have just had 5 lovely nights over Christmas - as a family of 6 adults, together for first Christmas in 4 years, plus one happy Groodle.Little John is a lovely, quiet home surrounded by beautiful paddocks, masses of trees and graced with the company of blue wrens, frogs, kangaroos, blue-banded native bees eagles and so much more. The kitchen was very well stocked with cooking and dining equipment - made it a pleasure to cook together as a family. The doggo loved the lawn and space and it was such a chilled out time.
Great communication about the property from Gerry. We’d happily stay again.

Thankyou Annie .we also felt it was such a pleasure to host such a lovely group. Great communication and left the house immaculate. Please come back anytime
The check in process was super easy and the communication with the property manager was wonderful.
The wonderful positives of the property:
* Incredibly well equiped kitchen including herbs, spices and oils!
* Great stock pile of wood and kindling for the fireplace.
* The house is cosy yet lots of space to entertain.
* The walk down to the damn on the property is magical especially watching the kangaroos come into eat both at dawn and dusk.
* Delicious mandarins and lemons on the property.
* Loved being able to use a washing machine and dryer especially with a toilet training toddler.
Would be great if:
* There was a hammock outside.
* The king bed was a little softer but that’s also a personal preference.
* Heater in the king size room for those colder months just because the heat from the fire place doesn’t reach this room.
Overall a lovely place and the owner is super easy to communicate with - thank you for a lovely family stay!

Thank you so much for your review and comments. The king bed mattress is a new latex mattress so maybe a bit firmer than most ! and I will look into options for heating that room. We are glad you enjoyed Little John,
it was a pleasure to have you stay
Quiet, spacious, well set up , great garden and space to play in paddock, house and garden fenced off so very safe for children. Cul de sac made it a quiet location from street traffic. Loved
it! The marti tree nuts were treacherous on the back verandas.
