Loch Sport is a sanctuary escape uniquely nestled between the Ninety Mile Beach and Gippsland Lakes and surrounded by Lakes National Park and Coastal park.
Sanctuary House is a four bedroom fully equipped home within 100m walking distance of all town amenities and Lake Victoria.
Loch sport offers great Lake and Ocean fishing, jetty facilities, a marina and boat ramps with easy access to the Lakes.
Water sports, sailing, jet skiing, kayaking, swimming, surfing and wildlife abundant are all on offer here.
Sanctuary House is in a great position for walking all around town, to shops, pub ,front lake foreshore which contains markets at certain times of the year and fireworks for New Years Eve.

It was so easy to locate and close to the beach for fishing .very spacious and very comfortable rooms .Although the beach was not good for fishing we enjoyed our stay doing other activities.

The house was clean and had everything we needed.We did need to do a quick maintenance on the shower head (My father is a plumber so was able to complete easy) - Location was central and yard fully enclosed which was great for the dog.It would have been great to have a heads up about the mozzies - we purchased some spray on the first day to allow us to use the outdoor area. The key was easy to locate - but did not work very well and we struggled with this throughout the trip - was not a big deal - just a little annoying. Overall we were very happy with the house and the hosts were great to deal with.

Mini holiday

Very lovely home. Large spacious kitchen and lounge room. Comfy couch and beautiful wrap around porch. We will definitely recommend to family and friends. We took our dogs and they loved it too! There was a safe and secure fence that protected them from the "large bunny rabbits" aka Kangaroos haha. We would stay here again for sure! Thank you for the lovely stay! :)

Comfortable home in a charming location

Our family of two adults and three kids had a wonderful stay at The Sanctuary. It’s a large, well laid out home with a cosy lounge room and a roaring fireplace. Fire was on when we got to the house, thanks to the great communication from Jenny and Mick. Having kangaroos almost at the back door was a highlight, and it is so close to the local shops, the lake and the causeway. Loch Sport itself is very sleepy (although we were there in winter, no doubt it’s busier in summer) which was just what we needed. We will come back again one day and explore the national parks further.

Another fantastic holiday!

This property really allowed for a restful and relaxing stay. We had 5 children under five with us so the fenced off property helped put our mind at ease. Not only this the location meant it was a nice short walk to the park and shops. Jennifer and her partner were very welcoming. It was our second time staying at their property and again they were super polite, helpful and welcoming of our family. Thank you!

We had a lovely relaxing weekend at this property. Hosts were very accommodating and the house was large and roomy. A surprise visitor on our first afternoon, a Grey Kangaroo jumped into the backyard to eat the grass. Lovely!!

We had a great stay here. The property has everything you could need. Took us a day to find the shortcut straight through to the beach. But it was a quick walk anyway to beach, park and small supermarket. Big kitchen with plenty of crockery and utensils, however could have done with a bigger fridge, although it was manageable. The property was generally clean, just a few areas that looked as it they hadn't been fused or wiped over for a while. Overall our stay was lovely and would recommend others to stay here too.

Property fairly well appointed but needed a good dust and clean-up around the house, outdoor table rickety and unstable, broken and dirty chairs, cobwebs on furniture. Small fridge inadequate for a family of 8. We struggled with that. Dining table unstable, needs fixing. Also furnishings needed a good dust. Cleaners not up to scratch. Also with the ravenous mosquito problem at Loch Sport, the flywire screens needed to be more securely fitted. A couple of screens in the bedroom and the kitchen kept falling off. The house itself was roomy and comfortable. But I think the issues I mentioned should be addressed for the comfort of future visitors.

Perfect getaway

Loved the bush setting and easy walk to lake and shops. House was just right for two families - the massive kitchen and sofa could fit everybody! Fire was lit ready for us on arrival. Perfect for bike riding to the National Park or the beach.
