Perched above Bend's coveted Westside, Stargazer is a beautifully restored 1965 Mid-Century Modern retreat where timeless architecture meets modern luxury. Thoughtfully renovated to preserve its original character while adding premium amenities, this exceptional home offers a peaceful woodland setting just minutes from downtown Bend's restaurants, breweries, boutiques, and endless outdoor recreation.

The fully equipped gourmet kitchen features black stainless steel appliances, a professional six-burner gas range, generous prep space, and seating for eight—perfect for everything from leisurely breakfasts to memorable dinners.

Designed for exceptional comfort, each bedroom features high-thread-count linens, European-style down duvets, and Casper memory foam mattresses. The home sleeps up to 10 guests, plus 2 small children using the bunk room trundle beds. Accommodations include a king primary suite, two queen guest rooms, and a bunk room with two twin-over-twin bunks, two trundles, a private bath, and a dedicated TV for younger guests.

Stargazer is the perfect base for Central Oregon adventures, with Mt. Bachelor, the Cascade Lakes, hiking, mountain biking, the Deschutes River, and Bend's renowned dining and craft beer scene all nearby. After a day of exploring, relax beneath the stars in your private saltwater hot tub.

In town for a half marathon!

This property was an excellent choice for a group of 4 friends in town to run the Bend marathon/half marathon. Each room is a private suite and the kitchen is really well appointed to be able to cook. We all had a great time, loved the hot tub and deer, too!

Beautiful, comfortable house in a great location!

Three families came together for a family reunion, and this house was perfect for us. We loved the spacious living spaces, comfortable, beds, and ample bathrooms. We cooked a lot and the kitchen is well equipped. We also loved using the hot tub at night. We hope to come back in the future.

Beautiful property

Loved the house! It was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. Couldn't get more perfect for our family get together with my sisters and their spouses, brother, nephew and his daughter, having four bedrooms each with their own bathroom. And seeing deer outside was great! You felt like you were in the woods, but actually in town. Will absolutely stay here again next time.

The Stargazer Does Not Disappoint!

This property is amazing! Beautiful home and really close to everything you’d want to do in Bend. It’s in a wonderful neighborhood but you still feel secluded by the amazing backyard. We would wake up to a few deer walking through the property and rest at night in the hot tub! Also really close to downtown and Old Mill. Amazing!

We absolutely loved this house. It was even better than anticipated. Every bedroom had an en-suite bath which made us feel like we were in a 5 star hotel. The kitchen was well equipped and the skylights made the space feel light and spacious. And the morning visit from mama deer and her doe was magical. A great neighborhood. I highly recommend this place.

Perfect Bend Vacation

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful, comfortable home in the hills. It was super convenient to everything and had plenty of space for our group of 6. The beds were all cozy and the home was well stocked with all the necessities. A wonderful surprise was all the deer casually hanging around just outside the windows. I'm so happy I chose the Stargazer.

Loved our stay!! The house is beautiful and the kitchen is incredibly stocked. The backyard was wonderful and we really enjoyed the view at night. Great location- about a 7 minute drive from most the places we wanted to visit! Couldn’t recommend enough!

Lovely property, well appointed. Sparkling clean! Each room is a suite which worked well for our extended family group. The home layout was great with a large deck with plenty of seating. The kitchen is great for those who like to cook. I will definitely return.

Cute home

This is a cute, clean mid-century style home. Each bedroom has a bathroom attached which is what sold us on this rental. We counted 10 deer in the yard one day. Rabbits and squirrels running around too! The hot tub was great with a rule to not talk over the jets after 9pm. Bend seems to have a very strict noise ordinance but that was described in all of our communication with the owner so it wasn't a surprise. Just keep that in mind if you are planning to go to Bend with a loud group!! 😊
