Step inside to find a seamless open layout filled with natural light, high ceilings modern furnishings, and thoughtfully curated textures. The kitchen is sleek yet warm, perfect for slow mornings or lively gatherings. A gas fireplace anchors the living space, offering a cozy spot to unwind after a day on the trails or slopes.
In true Nordic fashion, the home invites the outdoors in—with large windows, a private patio, and a landscaped yard designed for peace and reflection.
One of the standout features of this home is the private cedar sauna tucked in the backyard—your personal wellness haven. Whether you're warming up after a snowy adventure or taking a quiet moment to relax and recharge, the sauna offers a restorative retreat with a powerful heater and local cedar interior.
Located in NW Bend, you're just minutes from local coffee shops, Drake Park and downtown—yet nestled in a quiet corner that feels like your own private retreat. This home is 1 block away from the intersection of NW 14th and Galveston, a true hub for restaurants, equipment rentals, and of course the entryway to Century Drive, which accesses so much of what Central Oregon has to offer.
Guests will have full, private access to the entire home, including the garage, backyard, patio, sauna, and all of the bedrooms. The master bedroom does have one closet that is locked for our storage purposes. You’ll have complete privacy during your stay, with self-check-in for your convenience. Make yourself at home—everything you see is yours to enjoy.
We’re just a message away if you have any questions before or during your stay—we’re always happy to help! Whether you need local tips, help with the sauna, or a last-minute dinner recommendation, we’ve got you covered.
You'll also find a thoughtfully curated welcome binder in the home, filled with information about the house, our favorite local spots to eat, drink, and explore, plus useful info about the house and surrounding area to help you settle in and feel right at home. It is one of our most popular amenities and we work hard to keep it updated and relevant.
Note that dogs are not allowed, including Emotional Support Animals, which are not recognized as service animals in the state of Oregon. If you are bringing a service animal, we would appreciate if you would describe what duties or work it has been trained to perform, and if it is required because of a disability. We have significant fees for unauthorized animals. We are dog lovers but cater to guests who prefer to stay in homes that do not allow pets.
Wildfire smoke is a significant risk in the mid-summer to late fall in the PNW, especially east of the Cascades. Please note that we cannot predict or control the weather or the smoke, and neither of these are considered grounds for exceptions to the refund policy. If you want a more flexible cancellation policy due to air quality/smoke, we recommend purchasing travel insurance, which is offered to you during the booking process. If your time in Bend is impacted by smoke, we are happy to help you make the best of it—there are often times of day or parts of the surrounding area that are far less smoky than others. We live here and understand the challenge.
