About this property

Frog Cottage is situated in leafy Ventnor away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to enjoy all Phillip Island has to offer, half way between Cowes and the Penguin Parade. Frog Cottage is set on an acre of native bushland, next to the Anchorage Road general store which is very convenient for the paper and groceries. The Anchorage Road Beach, is only a 700m stroll along a made walking track from the cottage and is a safe, North facing, bay beach, ideal for swimming with kids or for fishing and kayaking.

The Layout

Two separate rooms (not interconnecting) which lead out to an undercover deck both of which are yours to enjoy.

Living room - Four seater couch, which can be made into a single/double bed if extra bed is required for kids or third adult.

Long weekend getaway

We spent a wonderful 3 nights at Frog Cottage with an 18 month old crawler and had some great weather which was a bonus to spend out on the verandah cooking on the bbq grill as no stove top. Great for self caterers (stayz description and other reviews cover the quirk) for everyone else it's a very short drive from everything you require.

Cosy cottage

Gorgeous garden and outdoor setting. Comfortable bed. No oven but a Weber set up outside. Bathroom was cosy but we made it work

Lovely setting for a short weekend away

Frog Cottage was beautiful and clean, the bed was very comfy. We really enjoyed our stay. Would stay again.

Perfect spot for the weekend

Actually all compliments, but if I may mention one minus point, is it the cars driving by once in a while. Indoors you dont hear it. Ofcourse there is nothing to be done about that and completely acceptable if you include the fine garden, cottage and hospitality!

Fabulous stay

It's a lovely little cottage with character. All very clean and even has decent instant coffee supplied and more importantly, the double bed id comfortable. Don't make it too popular though, we want to return and don't want it all booked out!
