This newly remodeled in 2019, light-filled home has been beautifully updated and furnished with elegant pieces and soft colors. Two sets of French doors lead to the 4 person hot tub in the back yard completing the ultimate Mill Valley laid back experience. The open kitchen/dining space is perfect for families as are the fenced in front & back yards. Easy proximity to freeway and walking distance to Whole Foods, restaurants, gyms, parks, and downtown. A quick 10 miles to SF and 42 miles to Napa.

The house
3-bedroom, 2-bathroom family home is spread out on 1 level. As you enter the home a cozy living room with 65' HDTV greets you with Netflix and Amazon Prime. 3 bedrooms include a master with a queen bed, master marble 2 vanity bathroom, and 55" wall mounted TV; guest bedroom with a queen bed; and guest bedroom with 2 twin beds. A second bathroom is located centrally with washer/dryer, large bathtub/shower combo, 2 vanity marble countertops, and glass tile. At the end of the house is a designer kitchen with quartz countertop, island, and table for 8. The entire property is fully enclosed by a horizontal redwood fence and 2 gates. A brand new 4 person hot tub is in the privacy of the back yard and always set to 104 degrees. Bonus room/finished garage detached from house is available when booking house for parties of 8. 6 adults max and 2 children. Parking for 1 car in the driveway and additional parking directly in front and across the street from the house for 2+ additional cars. Pack n play and high chair available for infants - no extra charge. Both located in bonus room/finished garage. 1 rollaway bed with 5 inch mattress and a twin futon are available for an additional fee and are located in the finished detached garage/bonus room.

Easy check in. This was a beautiful property with a modern kitchen and comfy bedrooms. We appreciated having supplies for coffee (grounds, filters). We cooked a few breakfasts and had plenty of cooking equipment for that too. We also enjoyed the large showers with plenty of toiletries and towels. Although we didn’t use it, the washer and drier would be ideal for a longer stay. The location was great, a straight shot to downtown. We would definitely stay here again.

We couldn’t have picked a better property to stay for our Niece’s wedding in the Mill Valley area! Plenty of room for us to spread out. Very clean and updated. Also close to downtown Mill Valley and the wedding venue. Would definitely book again!

Beautifully decorated three bedroom home with spacious living room, bedrooms and kitchen. Bathrooms are beautiful hot water is good. And the Jacuzzi was a nice extra.However, it was on a corner that had a very busy street on one side. The windows are double paned which helped but inevitably we heard the street noise early in the morning and in the evening. There’s an outside patio in the front and the back with nice seating so we enjoyed that.Great neighborhood, close to many nice restaurants. I suggest Bungalow 44.

Visiting friends in Mill Valley post Xmas. This rental was centrally located, really nicely decorated: everything visitors could need, even good shampoo. A new hairdryer. Appliances that are new and that work. Nice linens. Beautiful bathrooms. Just as advertised.

The house is recently renovated and all the right details exist. We spent some time there and cooked, the kitchen was very usable. The bathrooms were great. Loved the beds, very comfortable. Hot tub was wonderful!! The owner is very responsive. Lovely.

We were in Marin for a family wedding, and this property was very convenient to everything and comfortable. The property manager always responded promptly to my questions. There’s a gem of a park just a block away that the toddler loved, and an easy walk to Whole Foods.

Can’t believe no one has ever commented on the very LOUD traffic.

I would agree that the property was overall very clean. Where we had a problem was the fact that not one review mentioned the noise level of the very busy street next to the property. I felt duped by the “bustling” street nearby as it is more like a drag way that NEVER stops. We found it very difficult to sleep and wished we had been given an accurate review to have made a more suitable choice.

You did make me aware at your arrival that the street noise was more than what you are used to at home, in suburban Illinois. Unfortunately this is one of those things I have no control over. As we discussed over the phone, the noise level is relative. Most guests including myself do not find the daytime hum and bustle of the cars bothersome. Perhaps that is why no one has ever commented about the noise before. The property description makes mention of the bustle as you mentioned and that is what it is. Mill Valley is a town with almost no nighttime activity so I’m perplexed as to what the nighttime noise could have been that kept you up. For you this was not a good fit and I regret that your experience was not better. Next time please consider staying at my second Mill Valley property. That property is in a more remote location which makes it very quite day and night.
