Wonderful weekend, the home was so cozy and had everything we needed for the stay. Everything was perfect except for how close to the road it was. Would stay here again!!!
First time using VRBO and the host had all the information I could ever need and the cottage was helpfully labeled or info printed for using the dishwasher, fireplaces, etc. Very easy check-out.
Beutiful cottage, beautiful location. Close enough to many attractions but far away enough for a peaceful getaway. Would consider staying here again if ever in the area.
Came here with my 2 girlfriends for some R&R for the Holiday Hustle begins ... this cabin exceeded our expectations. The listing sold us, but after spending a weekend here, we know were coming back! Clean, cozy, safe, easy to find. The great room is Magical ... like being in a treehouse! The host, Dave, is quick to respond. Polite and thorough. Can't wait to visit that beautiful cabin again!
Lodge was cozy, very clean, and welcoming. Host communication was great. Stream and wooded location were a nice change of pace. Spent lots of time on the finished porch in the back. Kooser park and trails a few minute walk away. Forbes and other state parks a short drive. Only issue was the nearby SR 31 - less than 100 ft from the front door, with 55 mph gravel trucks all day long. If the lodge were 5x farther away from the road it'd be perfect! Awesome property- just bear in mind the traffic.
We loved the property, we spent alot of time with our feet in the water just enjoying the creek. The house was great, just be aware that you are situated on a slope, so there are stairs and incline, but it it doable and absolutely worth it. The owner was very quick to respond when we had a minor issue. The house is very comfortable and relaxing. We definitely plan on coming back soon.
David was very helpful and accommodating. We took a short weekend trip and had a wonderful time!
