Welcome to the Makai, One of Ocean City Maryland’s newer condominium complex's, located on the Isle of Wight Bay on 42nd street, with an indoor/outdoor tropical pool, next to the Convention Center!

Enjoy a luxurious open floor plan in this newly built 2 bedroom, 2 full bath, Ocean City condo with ceramic tile floors in the living areas, and carpeted bedrooms. Impressive Granite counter tops accent a fully-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances. This unit includes a full size washer and dryer and central air and heat. Non-smoking, No pets.

The kitchen looks into the living area with a nice comfy couch and chair facing an electric fireplace and 42' high definition LCD TV mounted over top with a Blu-Ray & DVD player.

How about your own private balcony with a beautiful view of the Isle of Wight Bay. Have a seat on one of the balcony chairs and set your drink down on one of the balcony tables. Now your vacation begins!

The master bed room features a king sized bed, a private entrance to the balcony, walk in closet, master bathroom, wall mounted high definition LCD TV, and a beautiful view of the bay!

The guest bedroom features a queen sized bed, a nice sized closet, its own wall mounted LCD TV, and a second full bathroom right next door.

The condo was just what we've expected. Very clean and quiet. Just what we wanted and had an amazing view of the water.The location gave us easy access to get to wherever we needed. We loved our short stay and will definitely be returning in the near future.

Place was well decorated and was a fun place to stay for the Reach The Beach Cheer Competition. Great size rooms and was fun to have a kitchen to make breakfast before the day started. Weather was dreary, but we made the best of it. Would really like to come back in season sometime. Thanks to our hosts for the great communication before our trip.

Amazing stay Makai.

The Condo was just the right size for my family. My daughter had her own room and bathroom. Drake was very very nice to talk to and kept in touch with us and even called me while we were there because I have a question. I am looking forward to staying here again next Cheerleading Reach the Beach Nationals.

The bay front condo was very clean and welcoming with a lovely view. I cannot think of a thing that needs improving upon with this condo. We would consider staying again. Drake is very communicative and helpful. You won't be disappointed! We stayed off season and still found plenty to do in the area! OCMD is one of our favorite spots!

My daughter and I drive down to Ocean City pretty much every year between Christmas and New Years. This year was no different. We have tried staying at other places but always come back to Drake and his lovely condo. It's a really nice space, very clean and we always have a great time. Relaxing/Enjoyable Vacation

Check in was easy, property clean and decor beachy. The first issue was when we first got off the elevator there was an overwhelming burning smell. There was a maintenance man outside a unit and said he was "burning" something earlier and apolgized for the smell. When we entered the unit there also was another odor - kind of weird smell I couldn't place. However, the odor was only at the front door and not in the unit itself. The inside of the unit was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The beds were comfortable and views were pretty - if you looked to the left and not straight ahead to see the hotels next door. Also, I had an issue with the water and I called Drake and he immediately instructed me on what I needed to do. There are written instructions on the refrigerator, but I didn't see them before calling. The main issue I had was the pool was closed for maintenance. This is one of the main reasons I booked this unit was the heated indoor pool. The pool did open near the end of our stay, but still wasn't as warm as I would have liked. Would I stay in this unit again or rent from this owner again? YES! It was well worth the price due to the comfort and attentiveness of the owner.

Perfect Choice

Have stayed in OC many times and this Condo was by far the best accomodation. Easily met the needs for two couples. Central location to all OC has to offer. Beautifully decorated and clean. The sunsets to remember

The responsive, down-to-business host; the well maintained and quiet building; a compact, but squeaky clean, all-you-need apartment. And, the Bay sunsets, oh these sunsets, ranged from fantastic down to 'simply spectacular'. And, the Taphouse three blocks away, with the draft sours and hot pretzels. Welcome to a paradise!

Comfortable stay

Condo was perfect , no complaints at all! Beautiful bay view from our balcony. The building it’s self can use a face lift,Indoor pool was ice cold.. the beach and boardwalk was quite far, thank god for free parking almost everywhere!

Why they chose this property

Location, Location, Location.. Plus the section of beach out in front of the Makai has sand dunes. For some reason, the beach is just not complete without sand dunes. :)

What makes this property unique

Rainy days are not a problem at the Makai. There is plenty to do. Whether it is; relaxing by the indoor/outdoor pool and sundeck, sitting in the sauna, shooting a game of pool in the billiards room, or maybe working off a few calories in the fitness center. It's all here!
