Lighthouse Mountain

Lighthouse Mountain is a spacious 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom modern country home set on 2.5 acres at the top of Browns Mountain, near Berry and Kangaroo Valley. Spectacular views from all rooms of the house and enormous deck, with a large garden and sweeping lawns.
Four bedrooms have queen beds, the fifth bedroom has 2 single beds.

Very private and secluded, but only 20 minutes from Berry, 15 minutes from Nowra and 10 minutes from local shops.

Table tennis and pool table provided.

Take a pleasant drive to wineries, Berry shops and cafes, Kangaroo Valley, golf courses, Shoalhaven Zoo, horse riding or stunning Jervis Bay beaches. Relax on the spacious decks enjoying picturesque valley views as far as Jervis Bay, or take a wander around the expansive garden.

Two external security cameras are on the front verandah facing the front door and garage.

Lighthouse Mountain

Had a fabulous time at this absolutely stunning home in picturesque Browns Mountain. The house was so spacious for our family group of 7 adults and 2 teens with two living areas and gorgeous outdoor spaces. The pool and table tennis tables were a hit and we couldn’t want for anything in this well equipped property. Will definitely come back again!

Amazing property

The house was absolutely beautiful and the views serene! We loved walking to visit the llamas each day. And our favourite room in the house was the Great Room! This property has everything you could want and more! The hosts Julie and her husband responded promptly to messages and were so lovely even leaving us a welcome basket! We had an absolutely wonderful stay with our family! :)

As we drove around the last turn we saw a beautiful property and said, wow I wish that was where we were staying.....and it was!! From the first impression to our last look out the rear view mirror this property was fantastic. My 3 year old granddaughter said she loved her new home! She was right, it felt like home with beautiful touches that not everyone thinks about to make a house feel like home. The layout is excellent, the views amazing and instantly able to relax. Thank you, we will be back!

Best location

A beautiful location that is away from the city's activities and noise. The house is stunning and well-kept. Pictures do not fairly convey the size and interior layout of the house, it’s much more spacious than we first thought. The outdoor areas are amazing for al fresco breakfast and chilly nights gathering around the fire. Two separate, spacious lounge rooms with plush furnishings. We would definitely come back again. Also, thank you Julie for being available all the time.

Great holiday house

Had a wonderful two night stay at this beautiful house for a group of ten people. House was warm and inviting, layout fantastic. Pool table and table tennis table was a great plus for the kids! The two living rooms enabled the adults to sit and chat and the kids to watch their movies. We roasted marshmallows in the outdoor fire pit and had a frisbee and soccer match between adults and kids. Took a short walk to say hi to the lamas as well. Our host Julie was amazing and very accommodating. We look forward to visiting her beautiful house again.

Cosy and wonderful stay!

The property has a very warm feel and is perfect if you’re looking for something a bit off the beaten track. The road leading up the mountain is quite steep, windy and narrow, but that was part of the charm. Our family really enjoyed the stay and everyone was very complimentary of the location and the house. The pictures don’t do it justice, it has a really nice ambiance and is well decorated with many personal touches. Seeing the wildlife (wombats, llamas, wallabies and birds) around the house was an added bonus. We managed to see the Milky Way on one of the nights when the clouds cleared up, given there was very limited light pollution around. Julie was an awesome host and provided details that were very easy to follow.

The property was exactly as described and the absolute perfect spot for a getaway! The home was SPOTLESS!, super clean and tidy, beautifully presented and additional nice touches like coffee and Tim tams :) Children enjoyed playing around the property and spotting wombats at night, even spotted a little baby!

A lovely large modern home

The house was beautifully equipped and so comfortable and the fire was cosy. The veranda was great to catch the morning sun for breakfast and the views were stunning. The google map stated the house was 7.5km from Kangaroo Valley our intended destination. This may have been as the crow flies! The roads are somewhat longer and the house is as explained in the blurb 1/2 hour away up windy roads. This however did not matter once we were there as it was so lovely and we drove all around the area anyway. I would recommend this property to anyone.

Wonderful stay

We had a lovely time in this gorgeous property. The house is very well set up and the kitchen is fabulous. It’s a beautiful quiet location, although quite isolated so best to plan not to need to drive in and out much as the road in is windy and steep.

We had a terrific 5 day holiday at this lovely home. We managed to spot a wombat in the garden one night and enjoyed visiting the llamas next door. The house was lovely and warm and we all enjoyed the ping pong and small pool table.

Mountain Magic

Absolutely stunning! Wonderfully private, homely, spacious with possibly the best appointed kitchen of anywhere that we have stayed. A magical place to enjoy the views over the Shoalhaven area while enjoying a bottle of local wine. Great location for enjoying the Kangaroo Valley and Shoalhaven area. Plenty of space to enjoy with the extended family, with everything you need in a home away from home. Fabulously child / family friendly. We had a lovely, relaxing time, and really enjoyed the tranquility and beauty of this special place. Julie was a great host. We highly recommend a stay here and wish we had longer. P.S. Don’t be deterred by the windy mountain road, it’s well worth it!

Great experience

The house was clean, especially the kitchen, all the cutleries and utensils were neatly arranged and thoroughly cleaned. The view from the lounge room is spectacular. Julie is a very nice host. She will give you some advice about the trip if you need it. We had a fantastic experience during our stay.
