Vista72 on Mount Tamborine. Entire house.

Vista72 is a lovely self-contained cottage, right at the top of Mount Tamborine. High-set among the trees, it's a perfect adults retreat, with views across the mountains and down to a slice of the Gold Coast (including night lights).

Bright and breezy in summer. Warm and cosy in winter. When the weather gets chilly, the glow of a fire will add to the atmosphere (and the romance).

Includes all the amenities you'll need for a few days away from it all. Gather up some yummy provisions on the way. Walk in. Relax with a movie, or a book, or a drink on the deck. Walk out.

It's also a short walk to the local golf course, and a short drive to the attractions of Tamborine Mountain, including Queensland's first national park, wineries, cheese factory, cafes, quirky retail outlets and walking trails.

If you are planning wedding photos, we can provide a private mountain edge backdrop.

Look out, breathe deeply, smile and take some time for yourself!

Please note 1: The base nightly rate is for two people occupying the main bedroom. For two people, one in each bedroom, an extra $50 a night applies.

Relaxing getaway

From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed. A fabulous getaway with wonderful views to the Gold Coast. The amenities at the home were all we needed to enjoy our short stay. Graeme provided us with some great ideas for places to see and places to eat. The comfortable furnishings and the toasty gas fire made for cosy evenings after being tourists all day. Definitely one to return to!

The house has an amazing view of the Gold Coast and surrounds. The owner greeted us with the keys and was very nice to meet and learn about his house. The drawing he has in his house are by himand really amazing. It was a nice touch to have some Tim Tams and Mint Slices, plus pod coffee available. We had a great stay and would recommend the house.

Great Getaway

Graeme, the host, was a friendly, responsive, helpful and very personable. The vista view of the Gold Coast coastline was magical. The accommodation was exceptionally clean and well appointed. Vista72 Weekend Getaway

We had a wonderful stay in Vista72 on a long weekend getaway. The unit was clean, cosy and had wonderful views out to the Gold Coast. The host Graeme was lovely, welcoming and helpful. Also a pretty handy artist. We enjoyed the proximity to many of the lovely features around Mt Tambourine. Parking is available onsite and it was only a short drive to restaurants, walking trails, incredible lookouts, shops, specialty wares and wineries. Would definitely stay at Vista72 again.

Super clean and convenient

I have hardly seen anywhere so spotlessly clean, which was hugely appreciated. This property is a bit of a way out of town so you will need transport. It has a lovely view of the Gold Coast, which can be obscured by clouds, which surround you up there on the mountain top. The host is very nice and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. As others have said this little house has everything you would need in term of kitchen and laundry etc. It would not be suitable for anyone who couldn’t manage stairs.

Great stay at Mount Tamborine

A well-designed, 2-bedroom house with gas fire, lovely bathroom and pleasant outlook towards the GC. Although the houses are close together in this neighbourhood, it wasn't an issue with this property which is designed for privacy while retaining the outlook from the deck off the lounge. Lovely.

Very cozy, nicely presented home. A great area to watch the sunrise with a cup of tea or to come back to after breakfast and a hike. Clean and comfortable, too. Would definitely stay again!

Just Perfect!

Gorgeous views, beautiful property, immaculately clean and well-appointed... and only 10 minutes maximum to anywhere else on the Mountain. Perfect spot for three busy mums getting away for a long weekend. Would also be perfect for a family break.

Ultimate Getaway!

If you are looking for ultimate relaxation this is the place to stay. Everything from the luxurious furnishings to the recent magazines was exceptional. 5 stars for all the comforts the lovely hosts have produced. We didn't want to leave. Will definitely be back and recommend it to anyone!!
