Awarded the 2019 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for providing consistently outstanding experiences and whose owners offer first-class customer service to their guests North Lodge Estate Cottages are in the heart of the Hunter Valley set on 25 acres in beautiful grounds ready for you to explore. You can enjoy expansive views over the valley and its vineyards and are located just minutes from the best wineries and restaurants that the Valley has to offer.

There are two cottages, The Highland Cottage which can accommodate up to four guests in two queen size bedrooms both with en-suites. The larger Clan Cottage which can accommodate up to six guests has 2 queen size bedrooms and a king/twin single bedroom.

Both cottages have fabulous wrap around verandahs, a kitchen, large living and entertaining areas, fire places and reverse cycle air-conditioners.

Breathe in the ambiance - take in the beauty surrounding the cottages. Peace and solitude - just what you need to unwind. Experience unbelievable sunrises and colourful sunsets from the verandahs.

TARIFF
Weekend - 2 night minimum, up to 10 guests from $1266 per night (Thu-Fri or Fri-Sat or Sat-Sun)
Midweek - 2 night minimum, up to 10 guests from $950 per night (Mon-Thu)
Additional adults $106 per person per night
Additional children 2-13 years $64 per person per night
Infants under 2 years free of charge

Please note that a $40 booking fee is applicable for all bookings made.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
A security deposit/bond of $800.00 is required for your stay and is payable as a credit card pre-authorisation. This will be processed approximately 24 - 48 hours before your arrival, so please ensure the funds are available at this time.

LONGER STAYS

Please contact us for a customised quote for longer stays of 3 nights and over.

NOTES 

A 1-night stay may be accepted at discretion of Management within 14 days of the prospective arrival date. A surcharge is applicable on the 1-night stay, this will be calculated by our staff and quoted to you before the booking is confirmed.
Weekend Public Holiday, Easter, Christmas, and New Year periods require a minimum 3 night stay full weekend rate.



Concert and special event weekends in the Hunter Valley will have a set minimum night requirement to stay and may attract a surcharge.

Excellent cottages for a short stay in the Hunter Valley

The cottages were perfect for a family Easter. Very conveniently located to wineries, restaurants and other places of interest. Very comfortable spacious cottages with great verandahs to gather as a family and look at the peaceful view. Very clean and fitted with everything we needed. Would highly recommend the cottages.

Great escape

Was very nice to find a “country” location to unwind from the busyness of Sydney. Very accommodating management company in arranging wine tasting excursion. Enjoyed watching kangaroos throughout the property.

Beautiful cottages and landscape

The property was beautiful, exceptional on the cleanliness and all the extras that were supplied was very thoughtful. We were just a bit disappointed on the location of the swimming pool and that there are no tables and chairs around the BBQ area.

Perfect base to explore the region

We stayed for two nights at North Lodge (both houses) and had a fantastic time. The facilities were excellent and the outlook Devine. We particularly liked the samples of local produce provided, as well as the wood fires in each cottage. A perfect place to relax and sample the wine we had acquired during the day!

Fabulous stay in the Hunter Valley

North Lodge Cottages is in the most stunning location. Complete peace and quiet but with a wonderful array of wineries and restaurants only a short drive away. There is even a zoo where you can feed very friendly kangaroos! Speaking of kangaroos, a real highlight was seeing kangaroos at the bottom of our garden! The cottages are set on a huge expanse on land complete with reservoirs bringing lots of birds and wildlife. Chris and Tina were fabulous hosts and had lots of excellent recommendations on things to do. We can't thank them enough for our perfect stay in the Hunter Valley.

Highland Cottage

My wife and I stayed at the Highland Cottage in April for three delightful days. The cottage was very well appointed with everything one would wish for but the highlight must be the large wrap around verandahs with the delightful views of the property and the mountains and waking in the morning to the chatter of birds and frogs and on two mornings having a mob of some dozen kangaroos not more than 20 metres from the cottage. Idyllic and far from the madding crowd! David

very peaceful and relaxing

The property was lovely, amazing views over looking the beautiful countryside. It was very clean and tidy and in a great location. The pool is at the main house and the owners are lovely. Very peaceful and relaxing, I would definitely recommend this to anyone and would love to go back again.
