About this property

Raven's Landing Studio- Romantic Getaway with Spectacular View!

Ravens Landing Studio is really away from it all. High atop a hill with views west of the Olympic Mountains and Puget Sound. It faces west so it catches the sun late into the afternoon. We finish the day with spectacular sunsets.

Miles of walking and biking trails are just up the hill from my home. Fishing, kayaking, beach combing, exploring and just minutes from the Olympic Peninsula. Bainbridge Island and Kingston ferries are thirty five and twenty minutes away respectively.

Excellent space for writing, painting, relaxing and dreaming. Raven's Landing Studio is a 400 sf studio space with a cozy queen size bed. The space is great for most but if you are over six feet it may be a bit of a squeeze. Most love the beauty of the space and the size has not been an issue.

There is a large deck with a gas grill out the French doors. Eating bar, mini kitchen complete with microwave, induction cooktop, coffee maker, convection oven, electric tea pot, kitchen sink, dishes, coffee, tea, etc. Small bistro table on the deck for morning breakfast or a glass of wine to finish off your day. A kayak and mountain bike are available. Granola, oatmeal, 2% organic milk, granola bars and fresh fruit are complementary.

I do allow one well behaved dog or cat with owner OK. I do require that pets do not get up on furniture or scratch. I enjoy traveling with my dog so I understand when guests would like to bring along a four legged friend. I do charge a $30 pet fee and I will request that from you as a separate charge if it’s not included when you book.

Hiking and biking trails are minutes away. Point no Point Beach and Light House five minutes away. Buck Lake swimming park five minutes away. Small grocery store and restaurant three minutes away. Nature Preserve five minutes away. Excellent fishing, mushroom hunting and crabbing in the fall and summer.

About the host

Host profile image
I am an artist that loves to travel. I enjoy going to new places and meeting new people. I have traveled using Airbnb within the US as well as overseas. I love to get away for just a weekend to reset my outlook on life. I have hosted travelers in my studio in the past and loved the experience. I just opened a new Airbnb getaway, Raven's Landing this year. I am excited to welcome new people to our beautiful area!

Why they chose this property

I chose this property because of the west facing view of the Olympics and Hood Canal. I love that it feels away from it all while it really is only twenty minutes to the Kingston/Edmond Ferry and forty minutes to the Bainbridge Island/Seattle Ferry. I designed this home and love to share the private studio with travelers.

What makes this property unique

Raven's Landing Studio is only minutes from Point no Point beach with miles of beach walking, I am also minutes away from Buck Lake for swimming in the summer as well as the Nature Reserve just down the road for a brief walk through the woods opening up to a drop dead gorgeous view of Hood Canal. There are also mountain bike and walking trails just up the road from my home. Fishing and kayaking are just minutes away. I have a hybrid mountain bike as well as a kayak that guests are welcome to use as well.
