Went here for our anniversary. The property owners thought of everything for a cabin rental stay. I would recommend this cabin to others and stay here again in a heartbeat. Very secluded and quite. The scenery was awesome and it brings you into nature.
It was clean and tide, and everything is carefully and thoughtfully organized and arranged in details. The owner of the cabin was very kind for providing directions, how the cabin were cleaned and prepared for us, and a list of places to visit. Especially, the inside and outside settings of the cabin were great, and my wife really liked it so much. Whole family give five stars.
This was the third year staying at Janis' beautiful Amherst cabin. She and her family are wonderful, attentive hosts and the cabin is gorgeous down to every detail. The hot tub is in the woods so you can watch the sky and forest while soaking. We always do the Cole/Cold Mountain hike which has a stretch in the woods, and a stretch through the high mountain meadow which is amazing in fall and winter. There are a number of trails 15-25 minutes up the road to the trailhead. Highly recommend!
This is the best getaway! We enjoyed every minute of our stay! It's not too far from town and beautifully tucked away in the mountains. We WILL be back! Everything was clean, organized and inviting. Janis was great at keeping in touch when we needed her. Thank you so much!!
