Perched on the bank of Broughton Mill Creek & only 500 meters from Berry centre
Perched on the banks of Broughton Mill Creek and situated only 450 meters from the town centre is a romantic oasis for two. The Berry weekender (or midweek stay) is situated where Alexander Berry established the first Berry village in the early 1800's. Your secluded modern accommodation faces north to the sun with a private verandah overlooking the creek. This studio style bungalow is set in the green garden of one of Berry's most historic cottages - built as the residence of the first Berry Policeman, and is only about 5 minutes walk along Queen Street to the cafes, pubs, restaurants and shops in the Berry township, and around 10 minutes walk from the Berry Railway Station. From your private verandah you might see the platypus, water dragons, wild duck, fish, skinks, possums and many varieties of bird that the creek and the tropical plants and features of the garden attract. YOUR FACILITIES ARE MODERN with: Underfloor heated bathroom, air-conditioning, WiFi, TV, Portable Bluetooth Speaker, Fridge, Kettle, Toaster, Iron, Hair-dryer AND DESIGNED FOR RELAXATION with comfortable queen bedding (towels and linen supplied) hammock, yoga mats, tennis racquets, games and magazines. Information about local facilities and attractions is provided and tea, coffee with plunger, and condiments, are complimentary
Leave your car behind and saunter into Berry for great coffee, shopping and eating experiences. Avoid parking and stroll to the Berry Market (held on the first Sunday of each month) or Farmers' market (every fortnight). You might even like to be pampered at one of Berry's massage salons. Or take your car to visit one of many local wineries, beaches, swimming pools, townships, bushwalks or coastal walk only minutes away. Jervis Bay with its famous beaches such as Greenpatch, Murrays Beach. Hyams Beach and other lovely swimming and picnic spots, such as the Currarong Rockpool are approx 40 mins drive away.

Such a great place to stay for our weekend away with Sally giving us a warm welcome to our private oasis, The studio is perched above Broughton Creek we watched wildlife come and go including a sighting of a platypus. We will be back!
A lovely place to celebrate our 39th Wedding Anniversary!Everything we needed was there, and a few thoughtful extras. Even saw some water dragons in the creek!Highly recommended.
Everything about the cabin was fantastic. It was cozy and well fitted out with all the amenities, including AC which was very much needed during the heatwave. Sally went the extra mile to make our stay even more special and clearly puts a lot of love and care into the place.

From the moment we artived it was perfect. Communication perfect. Arrival instructions perfect. Very sweet little cottage with modern facility's in a gorgeous location. The homemade cookies left for us were the perfect accompaniment for my cup of tea on the verandah overlooking the creek. Bed was comfy. Bathroom very clean. Can not fault it.
Well appointed studio set in beautiful gardens just a 5 minute walk to the heart of Berry township. Perfect for our needs attending a wedding at The Homestead across the road.
Location was peaceful and so close to Berry. Accomodation was beautiful inside and relaxing outside overlooking a creek. Will stay again.

The property offered the best of both worlds, a nice quiet chill place to relax infront of the creek but also walking distance into the main town for dinner and drinks!
Sally's place is absolutely beautiful. We loved sitting out on the back deck watching the wildlife and the creek below. The homemade biscuits were such a lovely gift. The studio is so well appointed with everything you need for a weekend away. Note there are no cooking facilities (other than a toaster, sandwich press, and kettle) but we didn't mind. It's the perfect short stroll into town so you don't need to use the car every day. We had the most wonderful time and are really looking forward to coming back again one day!
