About this property
No1 Errard Accommodation
No1 Errard Street.
The building was originally privately owned and known as "Linden"
Construction commenced in 1895 being completed at the turn of the century, the building still retains many of the beautiful unique architectural features of the period yet offers modern up to date facilities.
You have the entire second floor of this unique building at your disposal. There is a key pad coded entrance with camera / intercom up stairs for your convenience, along with two reserved off street parking spaces available.
The fully equipped kitchen has granite bench tops, full size fridge, dish washer, micro wave, gas oven with five burner cook top. All cooking and eating utensils are provided along with a coffee pod machine, toaster, iron etc etc.
The apartment offers cosy hydronic heating panels in all rooms as well as a gas coal fire in the large spacious lounge for ambiance while you watch TV or curl up on one of the Chesterfield leather couches. For the warmer months there is evaporative cooling though out and plenty of fresh country air.
The two main bedrooms are generous in size, both offering pillow top king size beds or if requested two singles with quality linen provided and ample storage.
The "Turret" room features the unique curved window seat below the oriel turret which beckons you to enjoy the sun and read a good book, while the second bedroom has it's own ensuite.
The main bathroom has a large spa bath with shower over, as well as a European style hidden laundry with quality Bosch front loader and separate dryer. There is also a second separate toilet beside the main bathroom.
A formal dining room is available if required and there are various good spots to pull up a chair and read a book in the upstairs foyer. All rooms have excellent post card views over the immediate Ballarat street scape while all windows are fitted with quality drapes and timber shutters.
We can arrange meals and or perhaps a picnic hamper for your day out if required. Charges will apply.
Errard Street North is a beautiful tree lined street and No1 is on the corner of Sturt Street, our main thoroughfare in Ballarat. The street consists of permanent residents, medical suites and other accommodation venues.
Centrally located, No1 Errard is within walking distance to most amenities. The Turret Café is on your door step offering great coffee, breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks. The Ballarat Health Services and St John of God Hospitals are only a short 2 or 3 minute walk.

Our spectacular Lake Wendouree is an easy 20 minute walk and offers a lovely 6k stroll around the shore line. The main thoroughfare "Sturt street" is right out front and a comfortable 15 minute walk down Sturt street will take you to our historic Lydiard street known for our splendid architecture, where you will find Ballarat's Art Gallery, more restaurants and theatre if you wish to watch a movie.
Along with the public bus service, The City of Ballarat also offers a free hop on hop off "City Circle Bus" which stops right out front.
