We loved our stay at Hunter Cove Cabin #5! The cabin was clean, great style, and perfect for our family. The boathouse provided a great option when folks wanted a break from the lake while others swam. It really was all wonderful!

Wonderful cabin and beautiful views
The cabin was very clean and contained everything we needed. It was decorated in a lake style which went perfectly with the outdoors. There was lots to do including swimming, kayaking, board games, and my favorite, reading on the screened in porch. I highly recommend!

We just got back from a great week in hunter cove! Our cabin was perfect, it had everything we needed and more and was very family friendly. The property is clean and well kept including the docks, boat house and access to all the canoes and amenities. One small drawback was the steep climb back up the hill to our cabin once we were on the water. We would recommend this property to everyone!
Saddleback Mountain is the best!! It’s about a 15 min drive to the lodge maybe even less. The cabin is just that, it was you would expect but there was plenty of space for us 2 adults and 4 kids ages 10-17. My only suggestion to future guest id if you like to cook bring some quality pans.

Hunter cove
We recently stayed at this property, I don’t think I would return to hunter cove again.
We stayed here years ago when it was maintained much better, our shower had a six inch slice in the floor, that someone could have sliced there foot on, the toilet leaked from the bottom, the property manager did offer to deal with the issue but being a plumber myself I know that the shower was a big deal and we would have to move somewhere else, and we had already unpacked after driving six hours. The boat house definitely needs some work, along with the docks too! Our family made the best of the cabin and did enjoy our stay but would not stay here again.

Response from VrboOwner on 20 July 2021
We are SO sorry about the crack in the bathtub! I think it happened over this past spring when the building had shifted. We are SO sorry and we had no idea of the issue....which I know should never have happened. I do want future guests to know that our maintenance man did fix the issue for this summer and made is safe for others, and then the owner is going to replace the unit this fall. I have passed along your feedback about the boat house to the owner to let them know it may need some updating. Thank you so much and I am really sorry you had this experience! We pride ourselves on amazing customer service and we should have caught the crack in the bottom of the tub before you arrived. Have a wonderful rest of your summer.

Quaint Cabin 5 on Rangeley Lake
This delightful little cabin on Rangeley Lake was perfect for our family getaway. So relaxing and just perfect for a group of 5. Just off the main road, so it's close to town, yet peaceful! We loved it and we'll be back soon

Wonderful Cabin
We had a wonderful trip to Hunter Cove. The cabin is very comfortable and you can't beat the location! The lake is beautiful and we spent a lot of our time on the dock and kyacking around the area. The front porch was great and we ate all our meals overlooking the lake. There were kyacks and canoes for general use in the boathouse.
While most of the cabins had guests, the place felt empty.

Loved our time in Maine!
We had the best time at Hunter Cove! The cabin was homey and clean. There was plenty of dishware and the screened in porch was perfect. Bed was also very comfy, tons of games provided. The only items to note, there is wifi, but internet is spotty in the cove so calls are tough. For us, we were looking to disconnect so it wasn't an issue, was actually nice! Cabin number 5 has a great view of the lake and everyone gets their own slip. Tons of dock space to hang out during the day. We'd totally book again, can't wait to go back!
