Come to the quieter side of life, soak up the spectacular 180 degree views of the sea and take long leisurely walks on the beach.

This quintessential 'Beach House @ James Well' is ideal for a summer beach holiday or a cosy winter getaway.

Just south of Ardrossan and ideally positioned as a base to explore the Yorke Peninsula, or pop something in the slow cooker for dinner and 'while away the time' reading a book or relaxing.

Activities include swimming, fishing, crabbing, walking, books, board games and puzzles. We have table tennis, cricket bat, kites and Bocci. Fishing Rods and Crab Rakes. Indoor activities include: 2 x TV's and a Wii console with a selection of games.

There is a shelter shed on the beach which is the perfect spot to hang out for some beach time fun and relaxation.

Spacious outdoor living areas, BBQ and clothes line. The well appointed kitchen includes a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and stock pot for cooking crabs.

Our local shopping precinct at Ardrossan has many food options to ensure your needs are met, including cafes, hotels, bakery and fast food outlets.

Drake's Supermarket is open 7 days per week (except 3 days per year) allowing you to shop when you arrive. Refer to their website.
Stock up on groceries, hang out at the beach house and enjoy the surrounds.

James Well/Rogues Point has a tidal boat ramp. Ardrossan has a larger boat ramp facility which accommodates all tidal movements.

Fully self contained, the beach house has 3 bedrooms and sleeps up to 7 people (maximum 6 adults).

The Host is welcoming and the host response quickly. Love how homie and complete the amenities inside the house and if you want to do some crabbing and fishing.. well the property has the equipments. We are amazed! When it comes to my kids entertainment, well, they are 100% entertained with board games etc. our stay was amazing! Thank you Janet for letting us stay in your wonderful property. highly recommended.!

This is a nice little property close to Ardrossan but in a quiet location with sea views. As a couple, it suited our needs. The kitchen and other rooms are well equipped and there is lots of space for guests' belongings, including furniture to put suitcases on (unusual in a holiday house). There are plentiful towel rails and hooks in and near the bathroom, which is useful. Although there are three bedrooms, the Queen bed in the second bedroom is up against a wall making it difficult to access one side of the bed, so I would not recommend this room for two people, but the first bedroom is better set up and was fine for us. The dining table is a bit of a distance from the kitchen and you have to negotiate corners of furniture to get there so I would not recommend this house for anyone with mobility issues. However we liked it and would happily stay again if we ever wished to visit the area again.

Thank you for you review Susan. Note for future guests. The second bedroom has a queen bed and has comfortably slept 2 people many times. This is a beach house. It is not big but has an amazing 180 degree water view and is fully equipped for your day to day needs. The photos clearly display the set up. There are steps to enter the property, however internally there is only one level.

We loved our stay at The Beach House at James Well. Stunning water views from the back deck, warm and welcoming space, quiet area with clean and tidy amenities. Such a beautiful place my husband and our 6 children (5 teenagers & a 4yr old) and it was perfect for spending time with loved ones. Everything that we needed was there, picture perfect sunrises from the deck, crabbing at low tide, walks along the beach even ping pong. We loved this place. 💕👍👍💕

We really enjoyed our stay at The Beach House at James Well. Lovely house equipped with everything we need, was clean, comfortable and Stunning water views from the deck. Absolutely loved our stay

This property was fantastic for both adults and children. Very well equipped and plenty to do. My kids really enjoyed the table tennis and board games. It is a great spot. We caught a good feed of crabs. Janet the host was excellent in answering any questions we had. We will be back soon.

Good times at James Well

A few days at James Well before the kids went back to school was great fun with crabbing and exploring the beach. The house is well appointed and has a lovely outlook. The outdoor area getting dated and needed some maintenance.

We enjoyed our stay at the property. It had many facilities we could use. The listing did not state about the use of rainwater for drinking and bathroom facilities. I felt the property manager was a little abrupt when I emailed her asking for answers to questions that I had overlooked on the website. But overall, a nice stay with a lovely decking area with beach views.

Great view and Location peacefull and Relaxing.

There are instruction notices to be mindful of placed throughout the home, however we viewed this with an understanding. Overall we were very impressed with the sea view from the back of the home and the short walking distance to the sea shore. We found the house very comfortable as it covered all our requirements. We had a great relaxing experience and left with some great memories. We do look forward in future to staying at this home again. Thank you !!!! and well done Janet.
