Solwara Beach House has been recently renovated and is now ready for you to enjoy.

Imagine unwinding in a fabulous, well equipped and spotlessly clean house with open plan living, really comfy beds and two bathrooms, in peaceful and leafy Silverleaves.

Just an easy 1.5 hours freeway drive from Melbourne, Silverleaves is an ideal place for an extended weekend break, a beachside holiday or a base while you enjoy exploring the many sights of Phillip Island.

Solwara (meaning salt water), is literally metres from the beach, a 40 minute beachside stroll into Cowes, or only 5 minutes by car.

The tranquil, giant banksia tree lined streets of Silverleaves transport you to laid back beachside holidays of the past, which may be all you're seeking, but Solwara is also ideally located within easy reach of all the amenities and attractions that Phillip Island has to offer - the fairy penguins, seals, whales (in winter), koalas, Churchill Island, and the Grand Prix Track, all are just but a few examples to keep you occupied.

Complete with new bathrooms, and a full new kitchen and an outdoor Gas BBQ, you can choose to be self-sufficient, or you may opt to walk or cycle to the nearby Silverleaves Cafe, or enjoy the many and varied quality food offerings of nearby Cowes.

If you want to stay connected while you relax at Solwara you can do that with the free unlimited internet WIFI with fast 50 mbps download speed.

Solwara has 3 bedrooms: 2 with comfy Queen size beds, and 1 with 2 x King Single beds. All are made up for your arrival with fine quality percale linen, woollen quilts and a variety of pillows - to ensure a comfortable stay. Quality bath towels are provided and all bed linen is included in your booking fee, this is not always the case with other holiday rentals.

If the weather is warm, there's an air conditioner and fans to keep you cool and on colder nights you will be cozy and warm in front of the wood heater while you gaze at the flickering flames.

Solwara is uniquely family, couples and wheelchair friendly - providing easy ramp access and wide doorways and hallway.

Great disabled access and lovely retreat

I chose Solwara based on the need for ramp access, wide doorways etc. That all worked beautifully but also the house itself was so well cared for it was a pleasure to spend time there. Close access to the beach as well.Thank you Leah for a lovely stay.

Lovely property!

Great family house in an excellent location

We just came back from a second stay at Solwara. We had a really relaxing time, and enjoyed all the little extras that the owner includes. The house is still immaculate, with extremely comfortable modern furniture in the living area and bedrooms. We have booked again for next year!

Our stay at Solwara Beach House was fantastic. The weather was predominantly wet and cold with a burst of sunshine here and there, but the home was warm and inviting all the time. Relaxing beach house in excellent location

We had a great stay at Solwara. It is brilliantly located being opposite a path to a secluded calm beach. The kitchen is fully renovated, and the furniture, beds and linen are of a very high standard. The host even provided a dog bed and treats for our dog. We look forward to coming back!

Highly recommended!

Great house in quiet location close to beach. Good coffee shop a short walk away. Lots of room to store beach equipment and a sunny private yard with washing line to dry wetsuits etc at the end of the day. We really appreciated the small touches by the owner to make our holiday comfortable. Thank you!

Fantastic location

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay over Easter. The house is very well appointed, with extremely comfy beds, couch and chairs. The owner seems to take great care in making her guests welcome. There were an array of extras in the pantry and even ice cream in the freezer. Our little dog was even cared for with dog treats and a dog bed. The kitchen is newly renovated and is a pleasure to use. The location across from the beach track is ideal. We look forward to coming back!

PERFECT POSITION

What a wonderful house to spend some time in. It's in such a quiet neighbourhood and only a 2 minute walk to the beach. The house was extremely clean and had everything needed to make our stay a pleasure. We will happily stay again (and so should you!)

Perfect staycation

The property was fantastic, all amenities you could ask for and just a short skip and a jump to the beach. The family absolutely loved staying here and it was so peaceful everyone could just sit back and relax.

Perfect location

Scenic serenity

A lovely house (sparkling clean and with welcome extra touches like shower gels, shampoo etc and some little pantry and fridge items) in a beautiful, tranquil location. It's just a short walk to the beach - or sit on the deck and listen to the roar of the surf as you enjoy a glass of wine. And when you fancy ditching the leafy quiet, Cowes is a few minutes' drive away with an abundance of shops, cafes and restuarants. We had a great stay.

We take great pride in keeping Solwara Beach House up to the standard that we expect when we travel and stay in B&Bs. Solwara is set up with everything we need for a fun and relaxing holiday and we always ensure it’s sparkling clean for our guests who keep coming back.

Why they chose this property

As soon as we drive into Silverleaves we know we are at our special place, we slow down and begin to relax. The first thing we do is walk across the road to the beach and walk barefoot, this really helps us to reconnect with nature and with each other.

What makes this property unique

We love our Solwara Beach House for its simplicity, it’s open plan living, dual bathrooms, wood heater in winter, and best of all sitting on the deck watching the world drift by. We love to cook and with the kitchen stocked with everything we need to cook up an amazing meal we pour a glass of wine set up a board game and relive many memories of fun holidays past and start planning our new adventure.
