About this property

Historic Log Cabin In Spearfish Canyon - Sleeps 4 - Pet Friendly - Mtn. Meadows!

4 People – 2 Bedrooms – 1 Queen – 2 Twins – ¾ Bath

Welcome to Mountain Meadows, a true historic log cabin built in the late 1930s and updated over the years for a comfortable Black Hills getaway. Located in Spearfish Canyon, Mountain Meadows is part of Wickiup Cabins, a 20 cabin village on 5 acres on Spearfish Creek. Popular for its creek side views, this is considered a 4 person cabin and sits near the kids play area and the fire pit. Mt Meadows has a queen in the main cabin area and a pair of twins on the enclosed screened sleeping porch. It has a kitchenette with stove top and large fridge, WIFI, bathroom, gas fireplace for heat, all bed linens, towels and basic cookware. Never miss a morning coffee with a coffee pot, coffee and filters supplied in your cabin. Outside, enjoy a picnic table and charcoal grill. Leave home with food and clothing, Wickiup has the rest. Pet Policy: We're happy to welcome dogs at Mountain Meadows. Dogs must be leashed anytime they are outside the cabin, and we ask that guests clean up after them and be considerate of nearby guests. If your dog is left alone in the cabin, please kennel them if they may become anxious or could damage anything. If a dog is barking, crying, or disturbing other guests while unattended, we may need to contact you to return to the cabin. Pet fee: $25 per dog, per day, with a two-dog maximum.

Awful

Picture was misleading. Heat turned off with a 45 degree night. One room was a porch w no electricity or heat. Owner called my children vulgar names and squared up to my husband like he wanted to fight because we complained...why? Listed wifi but owner said he only installed 4 access points because he didn't want to pay for so much so you had to sit at one spot at the picnic table for wifi, he "didn't want people using it from their beds. Coffee pot dirty. Not as described. Wife was nice husband was not.. Gave partial refund we stayed one night out of 3. Did not give refund for the 2 full night's. Was not very clean and outdated. Only 2 outlets in the main part of cabin and one in the bathroom. Too expensive for what it was.
