Beachside shack, close to the ocean

We loved the retro feel of the property, close to the ocean and walking distance from the river mouth and the marina. Our dogs loved the big backyard, spending lots of time exploring all areas.

Perfect beach shack

Fantastic property immediately beside Flinder’s Bay, the beach shack has the warm feel of a beloved retirement location which the family has maintained with the classic 70s tiling and style.Well set up with everything you need for simple enjoyment. Comfortable and the fenced backyard was a delight for our greyhound to do tight zoomie circuits.Very much enjoyed our stay.

Beach shack vibes

Our family spent the Easter weekend at this property and had a wonderful time. It had everything needed for cooking and relaxing. The beds were very comfortable ( most important) A great vibe and nice and close to the beach. Would definitely stay again.

Great beach shack

We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing few days spent at the Retro Shack where everything we needed was provided. Beds so comfortable. Wonderful location near the beach and the house was just delightful. The marble solitaire game was a hit. Will visit again.

Awesome property so close to the beach. We were lucky enough to see whales from the shore on our first day!! House is amazing with enough space for the whole family. Teenager really enjoyed the loft room. We will definitely be booking again.

Peaceful location

Had an absolute wonderful stay for a couple of nights. House is just lovely, spacious and very clean. The beds were so comfortable and everything needed was there with some little extras which was very sweet and thoughtful, Had some great walks along the beach and house is very handy to go off exploring the area. Garden is beautiful and enclosed for our dog which was just fabulous. Would highly recommend a stay if you get the chance.

A freinds getaway

Some friends and myself had an absolutely lovely stay in Augusta. This house was fantastic and the backyard was a great haven for our dogs. The location is perfect and I will definitely be coming back. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

A family hideout with enough space for everyone

We are a group of 6 (mum, dad, 3 teenagers 15,15,17 and 11 year old). We enjoyed our stay very much. The host’s thoughtful presentation and welcome chocolate/coffee was an instant hit for all of us.
