About this property

Lucy's 1960s Retro House Mollymook | Wine | Sunny Veranda | Breakfast | Wifi

About Lucy’s House – Original 1960s Beach Shack.

We were lucky enough to acquire this property after our daughter Lucy admired it for many years, always saying it was her favourite house in Mollymook. Lucy’s House is the perfect original 1960s two-bedroom fibro beach cottage perched high on the street, facing due north, and just a short walk to beautiful Mollymook Beach and Golf Course.
Lucy’s House retains all the charm and proportions of a classic 1960s beach cottage with timber floors, louvre windows, and French doors that open onto a sunny, spacious deck. The home is decorated in a relaxed coastal style, combining vintage finds with modern comforts.

You’ll find bath and beach towels, original artworks, and a few nostalgic treasures from the 60s.

The large back deck opens from the well-equipped kitchen onto a large fully fenced backyard with vintage caravan. The original front veranda, once the water tank, is a cosy spot to soak up winter sun with a glass of red.

The atmosphere we’ve created is cosy, comfortable, and reminiscent of lazy seaside holidays of the past.

Our family loves this house, and we hope you will too.

Accessibility

A portable ramp and shower chair are available for guests.
Lucy’s House is accessible for manual wheelchair users via the back deck and lawn area.

The Neighbourhood

Mollymook Beach stretches for two kilometres between Bannister Point and the southern headland, home to the Mollymook Golf Club. Enjoy surfing, swimming, snorkelling, diving, or spotting dolphins and whales along the coastline.

My family and I have been living on the South Coast since 1988 having moved from Sydney’s Northern Beaches. We spent 13 years living in Milton but made a sea change to Lake Conjola in 2000 where we live on a few acres with our chickens, and pesky kangaroos. We love the beach, paddleboarding, fishing, and entertaining friends and family.
