About Lucy’s House – Original 1960s Beach Shack.
We were lucky enough to acquire this property after our daughter Lucy admired it for many years, always saying it was her favourite house in Mollymook. Lucy’s House is the perfect original 1960s two-bedroom fibro beach cottage perched high on the street, facing due north, and just a short walk to beautiful Mollymook Beach and Golf Course.
Lucy’s House retains all the charm and proportions of a classic 1960s beach cottage with timber floors, louvre windows, and French doors that open onto a sunny, spacious deck. The home is decorated in a relaxed coastal style, combining vintage finds with modern comforts.
You’ll find bath and beach towels, original artworks, and a few nostalgic treasures from the 60s.
The large back deck opens from the well-equipped kitchen onto a large fully fenced backyard with vintage caravan. The original front veranda, once the water tank, is a cosy spot to soak up winter sun with a glass of red.
The atmosphere we’ve created is cosy, comfortable, and reminiscent of lazy seaside holidays of the past.
Our family loves this house, and we hope you will too.
